I wonder if they would ever make clear sides on the VLX like how MC does it with the SCV cases…

Thanks man, both the vewlix diamond version I built and the vlx cammy were really special to me. Letting them go was damn hard. I don’t like to boost them up but there’s nothing like a solid acrylic case, especially the vlx sized ones. Now if only I can design a way so it hinges open.
The vlx is the only manufactured stick I own and hands down the best. I always wished they would release it again so I can get another one to store away and now this one shows up. Looking forward to getting my hands on one.

So far it appears to be an Amazon Japan exclusive until Hori makes any more announcements. This seems like it will be very difficult to pick up as it does not appear that importers will be able to carry it.
I’d be down if the price isn’t too insane. Then again E3’s coming up so maybe Hori might announce something there.

Importers have carried Amazon Japan exclusive SKUs before. I wouldn’t be surprised if we saw this on Play-Asia, amiami, CDJapan and the like.

Asking Markman to field a group buy [S]might be a little[/S] is too much. Markman is getting his though a good friend of his in Japan. Getting 4 sticks is one thing.
Getting 100 and 4 sticks for a group buy is a [S]little[/S] way much even for Markman and his friend. There alot of time and money having to be tied up as well as shipping nightmares trying to do a group buy for arcade sticks. This is not like your doing a group buy on Geek Hack for your $3 Geek hack keyboard keycap. Were talking about $350 sticks. I can’t imagine the custom forms Markman have to deal with. Probability at the amount of stick a group buy will generate, Markman would get stuck with a pretty heavy import tax. Also a Group buy from Japan, that isn’t a few boxes being shipped via UPS or the mail, the only way to do that is getting a crate and having it ship freight which isn’t cheap, as you also have to buy the crate which is like an additional $500 dollars.
Those who really want to get a new white VXL real bad have to go though the usual routines, Importers who sell on Amazon, Play Asia amiami, CDJapan and eBay.
As well as maybe learning Japanese and Hitting up Yahoo Auctions Japan and dealing with overseas bank transfers.
