Hori Blazblue CPE Fightstick (img inside)

Well… its alright I should say but hey its a ps3/ps4 stick =DDD and it was 100$ so why not

I think it uses kuro buttons idk but i didnt like the way it feel
also its extremely extremely light like wtf

The plastic looks hideous btw

Well look at this i was expected like the wii/ex2 stick where u have to soldering the buttons off

well time to add new junk in it
the pcb has a cable for the hayabusa but… HEY guess what they dont sell the cable also i am too lazy to pin a 5pin harness so id just use the same microswitches since its pretty much the same anyways lol

and there you go, to me id either i got one that look really really bad but on the other hand it works like a charm
it doesnt have a touchpad or a microphone port but hey its very moddable so go for it =)

From what I’m to understand, both the stick and the buttons are all the old nasty Hori homebrew stuff. Probably just using up old stock, which would explain the price and the cheapass parts. I could see it tailored as a cheaper entry level stick, but once you replace the parts, that sort of goes out the window since it then nears the V4/5 pricing.

@does The buttons aren’t Kuros. They’re listed as “Standard buttons” on the official website, so they are the crappy old Hori-brand buttons.

@Chikalin There is no such thing as the “Hori RAP V5”. You’re right about everything else in your post, though.

I was under impression the HRAP V series for the PS3/PS4 ( HRAP V and HRAP V Silent ) were equivalent to a 5. :x

V= Vewlix layout

The V in the Hori naming scheme is a Letter V, as Tensho said, V is for Vewlix.
If you see a N its Namco Noir Layout and A is Astro City.

V3 = PS3 Vewlix layout
VX = Xbox 360 Vewlix layout
V4 = PS4 Vewlix layout
Kai = alternate Vewlix layout with more spacing between the joystick and buttons.

And of course VLX - Vewlix as the stick is a copy of the Vewlix arcade panel and not just the layout.

There never been a V5. Far as I know Hori never used Roman Numerals.

Hrap 2 - PS2
Hrap 3 - PS3
Hrap EX - Xbox 360

SA - Full Sanwa
SE - Full Seimitsu

Hrap = Hori Real Arcade Pro - Hori’s “premium” line of arcade sticks, usually but not always use real arcade parts.
Many of the older Hraps used knock off parts

FS - Fightstick, used for “budget” sticks

Also The Tekken 5 stick from Hori is not a Hrap but it uses the same main body. The buttons are soldered to the PCB and it uses a one of those cheap knock off Joysticks instead of a JLF like the old Hrap sticks.
