im spending my last day in HK playing some SFIV … heading out to causeway bay’s arcade. hope its still there. i saw someone mention it in a previous post. if not, ill head to MK in a few hours.

I was at some arcade in causeway bay last night playing some games with boxer and ryu. I was the only white guy there :china: had some fun. going back tonight.

good games dude. i had a backpack and green cap and/or red hair, depending on which day i showed up. played boxer mostly, with a bit of ryu for variety :woot: really happy to have some competition that’s decent, no one plays in the city i’m from so i don’t really get any offline games.
i probably won’t be able to make it tonight (family stuff) but i’ll see. if so, it won’t be until midnightish or so, assuming the arcade is even still open then.
I played a bit in Namco last night, me and the wife were out shopping. Played a few dudes, but wasn’t too happy with the sticks there (probably just me sucking). And the music games are all so close to each other you can’t hear shit when you play 'em, so i think i’ll stick with the other place 16+ (cyber gameland or whatever)
The only place to go really is just Mongkok. Most of the half decent players play from home now, at least till Super’s arcade release. Some of the top players would still gather at Mongkok for Vanilla every now and then. Should check that place out when you get a chance and try your luck there.

Haven’t been to MK for a couple weeks already, wanna play? I’m incredibly free now, after summer holidays I’m practically on vacation, so I’ve been playing quite a lot…just not in MK…(I’m a violin tutor, all of my summer classes have finished, and most of my 1on1 students are taking leaves to prepare for school… so, as I’ve said, incredibly free… almost boring, )
I play a scrubby viper though, if you come across a viper that tries too hard to be fancy but misses all her combos at critical moments… that’s very possibly me…

By the way there are two major arcades to find SF4. One is gamezone which has a nice amount of comp. However, I was MURDERED in gameland(?). The crazy dhalsim was whipping everyone’s ass. Seriously, he was nearly indestructable… I must have put down a ton of dollars on him… Anyone seen the guy?

Hey Hk peeps. In Hong Kong here, it be good to set up a group to maybe go hit the arcades together. Just yesterday I been to this arcade in Causeway Bay on the same street as SOGO, downstairs there is an arcade which has two machines of SSF4 AE. I am pretty sure several arcades in CWB has SSF4 AE. I am currently in Kowloon Side, but not very familiar with the arcades zones on this side.
Main Character: Ryu, Gouki, Cody, Dudely.
I am free today (Saturday) if anyone is down to hit up the arcades.
