i stopped by gamemax for a bit on sunday, came in a bit too early to have anyone playing, and stopped by again too late to also not have anybody playing

gamemax got boring, so we moved to the wanchai arcade, went up against final boss ryu for awhile before calling it a night

I fought an Abel player at GameMax with a lamer approach than I’m used to because my friend made me play Dhalsim to shift my mentality about how Guile should be played. Just patience, sonic booms, and very simple punishes. I saw this guy buffering U1 at range… so I’m like… really? ok whatever… Sonic Boom… he Ultras, I block it and Ultra back for the win. This happened in Round 2 AND Round 3.
The guy looks to me and says: "You’re dry as a cunt. Drrryyyy as a fucking cunt. Pardon my french."
le me: "Yea that’s basically what I’m trying to do"
le him: "You can’t do that man, you can’t play Guile like that"
sigh… doesn’t sound that bad but in person… the way he said it… man… really irked me. I lost the next game because that’s all I could think about -__-
