TE sticks have become a little bit rare now I think. Might be easy to find something like a RAP EX or EX-SA (though the SA will cost a ton). I’ve seen some VX and VLX around too.
Wanchai 188 and Sino Center in Mong Kok are the main places to go look. There’s another game-mall in MK but I forget the name. I wouldn’t be concerned about the quality really in terms of buying online vs local. As long as you’re buying the right product, it’s fine. It’s also possible to order parts through some local places so you could get like a RAP EX and mod the buttons to Sanwa parts yourself (around $2 USD per button).
