Anyone notice that Tomuson never really jumped at Chun with a Fierce kick or punch except like 1 or 2 times? Used MP a lot more instead.

It was a lot of jump ins (I’m guilty of this too) but in your defense I have to say that Ryu was not punishing any of them so why not. As long as you are able to switch it up against a less forgiving Ryu.

yeah pretty much all of his usual combos in that vid except the hhs into ultra.
curious why he put the hhs into ultra that didn’t combo at 1:40?
kind of odd.
Maybe it was to show that the non-combo was 8 hits and the combo was 9 (thus proving that it was a combo).
dunno, you can tell that just by looking at when the combo counter comes up.
not to mention most people assume any good combo video will have block set to auto.
he probably put it in just to show that it doesn’t work unless it’s a juggle, but if that was the intention i don’t know why he wouldn’t just have the dummy block it.
i’m probably just over thinking it though.
