I’m having trouble getting the headbutt to combo in:
j. RH [j. Fierce], cl. Strong, cr. Jab, FP Headbutt
and
j. RH [j. Fierce], cl. Strong, cr. Jab, FP Headbutt Super
I can combo with EX headbutt but not fierce. It is only against certain characters? Or am I doing something wrong? Any advice would be great:wonder:

against a GOOD cammy, this shit seems to be 5-5, borderline 6-4 cammy.
Balrog specifc combo. I have read this thread from top to bottom and dont see this nor have I seen this in match videos. Got this in training mode earlier and this works a treat but you need to be able to do c.lp xx HHS.
c.lp xx HHS xx EX Buttslam - 342 damage but all hits off HHS need to land for this to work. Its a 1 frame link but when you compare it to 262 finishing on S.HK Its a beauty and gets you a knockdown while you are standing over Rog for wake up games. Do it off a successful jump in or cross up and you can add another 30-50 damage depending on what you used.
Balrogs hitbox sticks out so much, which is why this works. Tried on other big characters and no joy (was obviously hoping this might get Gat).

But I usually do beat his cammy, and he has a real tough time with my honda, so sometimes he switches to sim… and then things turn around where its always me loosing

It is not corner only, you just need all hits of hands to land. It’s particularly good off cross up with mk into c.lp xx HHS xx ex buttslam as rog can struggle with cross ups. Typo on the damage which should be 324 without any jump in start up and it’s 362 off cross up all for just one bar which you get some back from the combo anyway.
that match feels like at least 6 - 4 honda to me.
i play stein all the time. ask him what he thinks that match is lol.
purrin’s cammy does much better against me but then again purrin has much more experience playing vs my honda than stein does.
either way, you have to learn where the gaps in cammy’s pressure is and it’s pretty much a guessing game for every character once she gets in.
the good thing is however that cammy players like to try to attack you which is good for honda. most character are easy for honda to beat if they are trying to move in on you instead of the other way around. just learn how to head butt, fa, or air to air her jump in cannon strike and you are on your way to dominating her.

edit: ok i just checked and unfortunately this combo only seems to work on standing boxer, and standing guile.
however it is much harder to do on guile. it seems to only work from cr.mk xx hhs and not for cr.lp or cr.lk.
also, you have to be at very close range so it pretty much only works on an in their face meaty, a deep jump in, or a crumple focus attack. it’s pretty good shit if you land a deep cross up j.mk on him though.

Thanks for testing. I was driving earlier and thought about what happens if Rog is crouching and had a feeling it would not get him.
Also did not think to try this off c.mk on other characters as I know it keeps you closer so good find on Guile. I play a good guile in the UK often so am going keep that in my locker. Game just keeps giving I guess. Going to try some more stuff over the weekend. Not expecting to find much, but then agian was not expecting to find that either.
Mr SNK - I think any character would take over 500 damage from 2 bars - thats a lovely sounding combo which will make me smile the firs ttime I land it. Just wish it had more applications against other characters. Even without the jump in (which good Rogs will stop you doing often) this is something that is going to surprise a few Rogs and there are lots of them out there). 2 minimal versions of this combo and any Rog will be wondering where 2/3 of their life just went .

Omg, when I first read this for some reason I was reading it as hands into ex-ochio. I was like wtf, thats what ex-ochio is for? I got really excited lol and then saddened by my lack of comprehension.
I’m not a Honda player per see, but yesterday I was messing with him and by just doing this combo I got around 600 of damage.
J.HPorHK -> c.LP -> EX Hands+F -> c.LP -> EX hands+F -> c.LP -> EX Hands+F after that you can just block or wait a bit and do a Oicho for extra damage out of the combo damage decrease, since you are in the range for a Oicho.
I bet this is old, but I just figure it out and thought it was a really nice and easy (in a way, ones you get the timing) combo, if you have 3 EX to waste that is, lol.
darkaoz, the ex loop is old but almost nobody uses it because the multiple 1 frame links (that you can’t plink and are hard to double tap) in the combo make the timing pretty hard.
if you can do that combo easy then you have some really good timing and should abuse that shit.
also the loop actually looks more like: j.hk, (cr.lp* xx EX hhs) x n, cr.lp xx FP hhs, st.rh
*you can do cr.mp xx EX hhs for your first rep of the loop.
so you can do it with any amount of meter, you just do less loops and go to the regular cr.lp xx FP hhs earlier.
edit: oops i wrote that combo wrong. it’s fixed now.

What method do you guys use to consistantly ex the hands. I can do piano or slide no prob but forcing the ex having trouble.
i do piano js at the end where i normally press :hp: at the end , i js press :mp:+:hp:
