So much emotion in that fight =(. It was like you felt Raoh’s pain knowing that his brother could kill him, but since he has been sick he wasn’t able to.
Does the manga show when Toki actually caught his disease?
The anime always implied that he got it saving Ken/Yuria but the Toki-den movie shows that he had it way before that incident.
Always thought that was a strange decision cause it changes that situation from a sacrifice to a ‘fuck it I’m dying anyway’ attitude. Saying that, the movie does explain his attitude of successorship a lot better.
My personal experience with buying FotNS off of Ebay was not very good. The box set that I got had some real shitty HK subs, and the quality of the video was lower than the fansubbed stuff from Heart of Madness.
Toki’s Illness: He got it from the radioactive fallout when he was protecting Yuria and Kenshiro, the movies(and gaiden mangas) are a different continuity/original spinoff
It was so sad that no matter how much he tried to kill Raoh and the fact that Raoh knew that Toki was superior was one of the saddest parts. He was begging him to kill him but Toki just couldn’t do it.
