Dunno what SOL means, but I haven’t heard anything negative much about the eng dub.
In fact I think some fans would want an eng dub for it.

lol i used to watch this anime way long ago in the 80’s and early 90’s. shit was spoken chinese i think and everytime somebody exploded or the shit was too gory the srceen would go black. damn these chinese censors, you could hear them scream and explode but not see it. shit was still awesome though, even though i was a kid and didnt understand shit (spoken kanton and mandarin subs, or the other way around). the vhs anime days > any other form after it. and i dont mean screen resolution or audio quality.

but then when RAOH of all people rolled up and said “a magnificent ending” I had to shed a single manly tear
Toki vs Raoh might be my all time favorite fight of the series . I was super sad during that fight.
I think I get to watch that one tonight… I had watched the fight on YouTube awhile back and without context it didn’t make much sense. But now…
also, gotta say… Rei’s end was crazy! I didn’t know going in that he was goin to die at all… I thought he went on his own way and that’s why he wasn’t in later fight scenes. His last moments were extraordinarily epic and even though his last episode was basically just a clip show, I still watched the whole thing. That he died in the normal Hokuto Shinken (omfg body explosion!) way just makes it worse…
Played the new HnK game and it is a blast. Just finished up Shin’s Dream Mode, which is basically a ‘what if’ scenario, and I was disappointed by his ending. I would have done things differently.
Get the game if you are a fan of HnK and the Musou gameplay.
The game looks rad, but I’m disappointed that they dropped the soap on putting the Anime’s soundtrack in the game
