D-Pad: Too bad the tourney didn’t go down, instead it was the Thurs. night session on Sat. night instead and I showed up early too lol. GGs to you sir, -epic- matches to be had in the DI vs PO saga. Those matches were hype, despite being very tedious on both of our accounts. Good stuff!
KOG: Good seeing you again. You should’ve stayed and watched the rest of the DI vs PO matches the went down after you left, most epic lol. We didn’t play did we? There’s always next time.

In response to your question of why I sometimes TK the FB disc, I find that it adds an extra degree of mixup for oki being that its a high hit that will launch on hit and possibly wallbounce making it easier to set-up/start an ADC combo or an IAD variant. Its not really necessary to do but I like doing it sometimes as more often than not it has the potential to mess up someone who is least expecting it, just my opinion though. As for rolling though, I could be using it more, like when I nail a 2D a roll after that to a disc on oki helps some. Then again I end up always doing something else, that and she’s fast so I don’t know why I don’t use if more. I only use MI every so often though lol.
bear: Nice meeting you and playing against your AX. Pretty solid stuff you got there, just keep at it man. AB is not scary, I didn’t kill you in one huge combo, more like 2 medium sized ones lol. the launch combo followup I used was 1 of 2 options but both give good damage, knockdown, and 2x keygrab if applicable, tricky to do but worth it. Looking forward to more matches with you next time as well. GGs to you. Its hard trying to pull people to play this game, good luck with that though. More people who play other chars would be great for matchups. Tell them there is some possibility to win the pot at the tourney could be some incentive for them to show up. If anything at least for the freeplay or casuals to check things out at least lol.

Me personally, I use chars to see if I -can- use them and see if their playstyle suits me. As of late I’ve stuck by the girls in GGXX and probably will keep on that path I suppose lol. Besides my main DI, I sub AB for the most part. Of the remaining girls, I can play as MI and do some stuffs with BA and JA. And with who is left I’d probably wanna learn IN over MA, despite the degree of difficulty in execution. IN stuff is crazy to see in action and I have seen it, at EVO, against me, lol.

Recently I’ve been fooling around with zappa and may. I want to add zappa as a casual-sub(lol). And may as a sub under Axl. But you guys probly won’t be seeing them in the next 5 practice/tournament. So either potty, or jam, maybe testament… Lol. I could go on for an hour or two on this question, but I’ll keep it short.
O yeah remember that converter that I was telling you guys about where you can play the ps2 on a computer monitor. It sucks, I tested it out and it’s a bit laggy. But I was playing 3s on it tho, but I didn’t think the game mattered. Couldn’t pull off akuma’s c.mk>short.hurricane kick>s.fp xx demon flip dive kick> f.mp xx raging demon.

My sub char(s) are probably only gonna see casual play anyway, to change up the flow of action during matches. Its nice to have variety sometimes.
If anything, play your PO and JA next time for fun. It’d be an interesting contrast to see alongside D-Pad, lol. Though I’d much rather play a TE considering his tier placement. Hell, play all 3 plus the other 2 chars, whichever ones you feel like playing next time. I’d probably run through my subs if you do.
after i posted that, I fooled around with Ino and testament. I think I’ll try out testament in the next session. then maybe dick around with may or something. i’m not even 60% good on those two but whatever. I think we have to rely on each other for learning/playing at least 3 or maybe even 5 characters so we have some matchup experience. and since we have a small scene.
Also what’s up with the free sessions. I’m feeling bad that I’m not paying. D-Pad, did we have to pay for the last session?
