When in training and displaying hitboxes, the player can’t pause the game and study every pixel or whatever…in past capcom fighters, you could remove the pause window and look at the game screen… this should be patched or something, that is all.
thanks for bringing attention to this
i’m sure backbone/capcom will be right on it
They could do it in the Dev Kit and Sirlin wanted to put it into the game. But in the end they basically said they were out of time and out of budget.
it seems necessary for them to implement this ‘feature’… if they’re gonna patch the glitches, hopefully they can make this adjustment as well…
Also they need to get the fireball hitboxs on, in YBH and HF debug mode you can see them.
Yeah, fireballs hitboxes and and “throw boxes” (if that’s possible) are both notably absent and would be very cool to have.
Yeah, I agree, it’s really weird that we got hitbox mode without being able to pause the game and really see where all the hitboxes are. This is especially annoying for jumping moves. The way I’ve been getting around this is to put my character at the very side of the screen and press home and then immediately after press the button I want to see the hitbox for; home takes a little bit to activate, and the home box is smaller than the start box, so this is a dumb ghetto way of being able to freeze the screen and see things you can’t otherwise.
slowing the game down to speed zero helps a lot as well.
