Hopefully that means i can get a hitbox before UMvC3 comes out.
Looking at the features, I am totally excited. Now question is, Hitbox team, will you guys add the microphone jack and possibley LED features on the hitbox once you guys use the PS360+ pcb?
I would definitely pay extra for these features if implemented.
Oh and btw, do you guys by any chance have violet OBSF-24s. Gotta rep dat purple.
I havenât played much MK9 but my impression is that a hit box should work just as well if not better for other fighters. I would imagine the challenge in playing mk9 on a stick or box would be finding the best setup for the right hand since MK using a run button and a block button. The left hand would work great with the hitbox. For other fighters the right hand set up is already optimized but the left will take a slightly more nuanced motion to include diagonals. That said, the motion comes fairly naturally. I imagine Iâll probably keep my stick just in case I have friends come over.
My date of inquiry still shows the wrong date. I am certain others are showing wrong dates as well.
I wouldnât be concerned, except for I received an email for the ps3 board saying it is available and I can now order one. This wouldnât concern me if I already hadnât received one way earlier.
Has our dates for those of us who registered months before that been secured?
I just borrowed a Hitbox from a friend and we both donât know if its a 360 or PS3 or a dualmod. I connected it to my PC, no problems there. When I connected it to my PS3, says unknown device. I was thinking that maybe I need to press one of the buttons whilst I hook it up to the PS3 to let it change modes, or I may be wrong. Help?
EDIT: Just solved it, had to use the âStartâ button to switch modes
I tried to use the XCM Cross Fire converter and it did not recognize it. I have read somewhere on here that the âPS2/PS3 to Xbox360 Controller Converter Proâ does work and is lag free. But good luck finding one. Yes, that is the actual name of the product. Original, yes?

i was able to mod around it though and put in some extra special wiring for the top panel

Unfortunately our older models were very rough and didnât include a mounting bracket, so we used non-silicone based glue to mount the PCB to the top plate. We have a mounting bracket now and we apologize for everyone who has one of our early models, but as a growing company we had a lot of ironing out to do.

Woot! That was my HitBox!! Quick question though⌠After it was dual-modded I found it absolutely impossible to do backwards half-circles on the Xbox 360⌠The work fine on the PS3 but for some reason, it doesnât register the down input.

it registered the down input when i tested it with you in personâŚ
i also found it odd to that when i hit forwards and backwards it goes back left on xbox mode
edit: i mean it goes down backwards
it works on down on its own right?
The down itself works⌠Itâs just when I do the half-circle back motion⌠it doesnât register the down motion.

The 360 PCB is more strict. Left+right+down on our PCB is just down, it makes it a LOT easier to do half circles because of it. Youâre going to have to clean the hell out of your inputs if you want to half cirle on 360. Think of it as a back and then tap quarter circle forward.

I accidentally peeled the pad so i had to follow the trace. I was hoping that it didnât accidentally fall out.
also make note that a few fighting games register things like 360âs off of just hitting the directions like up down left right so you could do 270âs and register 360âs
iâm not sure if thatâs the same way with half backs though
to make matters worse the backwards half circle is one of the more difficult motions to do cleanly on a hitbox. Damn that ring finger!
Iâve noticed the earlier models have the ps button on the left side. the model i just received has the ps button with start and select on the side that faces the tv. any reason for the change?
