Hit Box - We so S Tier1!

Your images are borked

Sorry, never used url before, does is work now?

Yep

Does anyone receive an email response from Hitbox Arcade? I am trying to contact them, but no reply since early January. Are they out of their business?

@Darksakul and @hyperheavywing
Hitbox used the different firmware with Brook PS4 Fighting Board.

Surprisingly, my hitbox ps4 keep failing to upgrade with a firmware on Hitbox website, and works ok with 1.4version Brooks you posted previous pages. So I sent an email to hitbox arcade and they didn’t respond over a month.

@hyperheavywing

OMG…
I can offer a firmware link to all for fixing

Press PS+Share then plug in a USB port

Thanks for a reply and a solution. I got this file from your previous posting and it is work like a charm as direct input.
Yet, I was wonder if there is a way to connect a hitbox as an X-input controller
(like brooks ps3/ps4 fighting board)
I updated firmware from Brooks’ website(v18), It successfully imports the firmware and read hitbox as x-input, but some buttons are recognised as they are pressed permanently, so I return to the firmware that you uploaded

@hyperheavywing
Brook and HitBox have different hardware on L2/R2 pins.

If you used Brook version to update into your board, please remove two resistors on L2/R2 and wired two buttons between L2/R2 & GND.

So, is it possible to rewire the hitbox board and use it brook’s firmware?

I still don’t understand how. I can post more pictures on the board if necessary

@hyperheavywing
I don’t have hitbox’s breakout board. If possible, please share more pictures.

Hey! I know the HitBoxArcade guys read these forums pretty frequently so I thought I’d try to reach them here. I’ve heard in the past that you are willing to sell clear plexiglass panels (for custom art). Do you still do this and if you do, what is the process to doing it since you don’t have that as an item in your store?

I was about to ask does the Hit Box include a plexi for art work out the gate by default. Guess it doesn’t?

There is plexi on the hitbox controllers but the artwork / logo is part of the plexi. So you can’t put anything beneath it.

Here is the link of the files. let me know if you need more

Hi, I am new here and I just received my new Xbox One Hitbox! I love this thing, haha! For any of you out there that are fence walking about purchasing this product, do it. I was a little apprehensive on buying one because information on it is pretty sparse and I had many questions. So I am going to take it upon myself to answer the questions I had before buying one for anyone interested. The XB1 Hitbox is plug n’ play on PC with no issues - no third party programs required. It is compatible with the Cronusmax with no input lag and no missed inputs, ever. In addition, it works with TTT2 on XB1 natively w/o the need of a converter. The product arrived within four days of my order (live in AZ). I hope this information is of value to someone! Ty Hitbox arcade!

ps You can really press buttons too fast on this thing in TTT2. I figured out that my hands had to slow down dramatically to get that sick SOCD backdash. Also, getting used to the hardware is really no issue for me. For perspective I’ve used analog stick on Xbox for 12+ years and this is no problem. I also really prefer the 24mm buttons this product has over the standard 30mm on sticks. Overall it it a fun medium to play on and I definitely see value in mastering this device.

@hyperheavywing
Please remove R1 ~ R4 resistors, then changes two buttons of L2/R2 to connect with GND not VDD_3.3

Agreed. I got my PS4 Hitbox shortly after I ordered it and I love the thing. I was getting bored with using fight stick and this is so much more fun. It’s like playing a piano to get your combos out. So cool. Once I get better with it I’m going to put out tutorial videos on my regimen I’m doing to learn to use it properly. Do you prefer to slide your fingers for HCB HCF or piano key that input? I prefer piano key even though i started using slide method at first. I’m learning to piano tho…

BTW I wanted to share something in case a FG player comes through looking for answers. I got my first taste of hitbox by buying the Hori VLX panel and TE2+ hitbox layout panels from Jasen’s customs. They work fine in SF5 but in KOF I HAD to use the slide technique to get HCB and HCF out because piano didn’t register the down input properly. In that game the down input is very important in that motion, especially in supers and climaxes. Anyway once I got an official Hitbox from the company that designed the thing, piano presses register the down input on KOF 14. I don’t know if it’s the PCB or the SOCD cleaner but it works better. If you’re gonna get a panel or a Hitbox mod, I’d recommend making sure you’re using a Brook or something that has a SOCD cleaner if that’s what makes the difference. L8r g8rs…

What type of board is this in my new PS4 Hitbox? I just got it like 4 weeks ago:
