Has anyoneās Down input just kinda stopped working for a couple seconds when playing SFV (either version)? It seems rare and I havenāt found any method of reproducing, but on three separate occasions now when playing SFV the Down input when held doesnāt fire and when it occurs it takes about ~2 seconds before it comes back. At first I thought it was maybe my PS4 Hitbox, but I swapped over to the PC version and it occurred once on my Xbox One Hitbox as well.
I purchased a stick a week ago from these guys and all I got was thank you for your money which was instantly. I have not seen a single e-mail response or any notification that it will ship in the near future or anytime soon. I donāt even know if I just got scammed people have assured me they are good people so I have not tried to cancel or get my money back. I literally saw when they sold out checking the website everyday to read something. āWe are swamped orders will be shipped next week somethingā instead I am left with dead silence.
Iāve explained this multiple times on multiple different forums and media hubs but Iāll say it again for those who have missed it.
Hit Box is a very small company. How small? Well besides me who has a cushiony internet based job, Hit Box is two people. Shawn and Dustin Huffer. Thatās it. And these two people are responsible for purchasing, spending, manufacturing, R&D, production, quality control, packaging, shipping, and all other forms of business on top of answering emails, handling repairs (which Hit Box does at no cost to you), and making announcements. And all of these fields are very important to the livelihood and longevity of the product and the company.
I apologize that we cannot always get back to you in a timely manner, I apologize that our responses might not be exactly what you want to hear, I apologize that sometimes orders ship later than you expect them to, but I assure you that we work as fast as we can to get things done as soon as physically humanly possible.
If you have made an order before we put up the Sold Out notice, your order was received and we will try to get it to you soon, please do not worry.
If you havenāt received an email with your tracking information, please be patient as it may take some time.
We will do everything we can to get you a quality product, and if itās not up to par we will do everything in our power to make it right.
I understand you are frustrated, but please understand our position.
This is all I ever wanted for someone to tell me how it is when I read small company iām thinking 100-200 people. Now if itās the two of you can be fine with that say great job especially when I see all the hitboxes floating around. But I had no idea what to expect. This is my very first one and the website looked so nice. I donāt know why no one could not just said its two people working really hard I can respect that. Thanks for the response I can be happy that I have information. Instead of feeling like Iām being scammed when that is not the case.
I have an hitbox and is very good. Is the best choice if u want to play tekken or mortal kombat. I never Tried virtua fighter with it, u think for vf is better a stick?
I havenāt noticed it in a match, but I have noticed in the menus that if any other button is being held the directionals wont work. Iāve been in cases where I thought my buttons were not responding but I had my fingers resting on the inputs just hard enough to register.
I just wanted to let everyone know Iām working heavily into the backlog of emails weāve received. The reason why many of these emails have gone unresponded to is because we could answer emails, or ship orders. I know you guys would much rather get your orders faster then responding to email.
Weāve been at this for over 5 years now and weāre in this for the long haul. Weāve been incredibly lucky to have such excellent customers and such a large group of players believing in the Hit Box. Weāre just a bit overloaded with Street Fighter 5. If you have a problem weāre committed to fixing it for you. Anyone can let me have it on my personal facebook anytime as well as hitting me up over at hitboxes@gmail.com. We want to take care of you guys!
I also really feel the need to publicly thank my friend John Grimm up there at the top of the page who was clearly not happy with the mess Iāve left him. Heās helped us with forums and events since the beginning and we wouldnāt be where we are today without his help. However, you guys have to understand that heās going to have to go to me with the really hard questions that you ask on here. A lot of them involve me talking with engineers which takes time.
