Holy crap, Iām having this problem too, never noticed before because up till the SFV beta today Iād just been using it for 3S and as a Chun player when are you ever going to use light kick? Iām on windows 8.1, so I think we can assume that that problem at least isnāt due to windows 10?
I know I just asked a day ago, but I want to use my hitbox on tomorrows street fighter V beta so bad! Please, can anyone help me get my ps4 hitbox to work on the pc beta?
joytokey is mentioned on the other page it works, just randomly today I was getting my light kick button stuck on turbo, but only after a match, I assume itās catching it during a loading screen or something. But other than that it has worked wonders.
just assign the keys pov to arrows and buttons to the keyboard 1-10= 1 g,2 b,3 n,4 h, 5 k, 6 j, 7 ā,ā ,8 m,9 NA, 10 enter
Ya as above mentioned I got this problem quite a few times today, maybe I am just accidentally hitting the turbo button while playing. But it was also always light kick unplugging and re? plugging fixed it though for me.
It seems like the issue of dropping inputs of LK (or button 2 in control panel) starts happening a little bit after you start playing SFV. Iām going to test whether other games cause this as well. Really sucks, for the moment I think Iām going to have to go back to using my old stick for SFV because I canāt reliably throw since it drops the LK input sometimes.
Edit: Got the same issue from playing 3S in fightcade, I guess running any program with it causes this issue?
Anyone here have the Xbox One Hitbox? I just ordered one to jump into some XB1 KI, but Iām also curious if itāll work out of the box with SF5 PC since it should be XInput based. Does it have issues with the LT/RT in Windows 10 like some of the other PCBs?
Thanks for the insight! It looks like that specific setup is OOS on PAS. I think Iāll end up grabbing the Brooks Universal Board instead (for a solderless solution) in a week or so. Anyone know how the latency on that board compares with the Brooks PS3/PS4 board and/or PS360+?
I was hoping to put a PS360+ in the HitBox for latency reasons, but apparently you have to muddle with things to get around the 8 minute timeout. Is that right?
it starts after u press start and lk at the same time, probably because u mash start and lk after the round is over to start the next one, because that is how i figured it out(im pretty sure if u go into training mode and try to reproduce it it works). its some sort of turbo feature i mentioned a page ago
yes but why mess with that when you have a universal board that hooks everything up the exact same way as the ps360+ and doesnāt have a timeout, plus autodetect
I played on my stickless controller the first time this weekend with the SF5 beta. Having used a stick for years it feels like the transition isnāt as easy as I thought.
Concentrating to do a combo clean feels good and is very achievable, but in the heat of the battle I found defending to be very hard. I kept accidentally pressing the jump button or just hitting down instead of downback in pressure situations. I hope I can get used to it.
What I doubt I can get used to is actively using the ring finger and rolling the fingers from index to ring finger (hcb), so I fear that Iāll always have a preferred side.
Positively I can say that I was able to play longer sessions and I didnāt get exhausted at all.
Did you guys do any exercises for weaker fingers or just keep practicing the game?
Rubber band the ring and middle finger and practice moving them apart. But also, maybe try doing footsies while practicing the sliding technique. (I still canāt do standing 720ās)
I think I already asked this, but how would you go about replacing the artwork on one of these? Been looking at doing so for quite a while, but I couldnāt find anything on how to do it.
