I’m not good at tekken, but a hitbox helped lower the skill ceiling when it came to movement. There’s actually a way to get EWGF to come out every time on player 1 side by pressing the punch and the forward with the same hand.
Goddamn right it did. Took me a week to pick off or burn through the stuff. If JohnGrimm wasn’t such an awesome guy, I’d have whacked him upside the head for it.
Hello! I got my Hit Box about a week ago and I honestly can’t find any advantage using it if you’re a Nina player (Tekken)… Although evil mist and flapping butterflies may be a tad easier (I can do then on pad already), it makes much more things overly complicated that are simple to do on pad. Well that’s $180 I won’t get back since there are no refunds… I am honestly regretting this purchase… It’s not a bad product but on top of not getting any advantage over execution it has also made the fingers on my left hand so strained it hurts to move them around. I’m sure that’d pass after a few weeks of getting use to it but I realize now that just because you use a Hit Box it doesn’t mean you’ll be a better player. Expensive lesson learned right there!
So I guess if anyone is looking to get a Hit Box I’ll sell you mine for a reasonable price! LOL
so you want to sell a tool which makes things overly complicated, which made your hand strained that it hurts when you move it and doesnt bring me any advantage execution wise.
sounds like a horrible product…but i will free you from it for 50€uro including the shipment to germany :3

My advice would be If you are thinking of selling it continue to try to use it in the mean time. I can’t speak to using it in tekken but I ordered one a few months ago and it took me a painful 3 weeks to get my timing and set ups back in SF. I ordered one because I would frequently drop combos and occasionally do random jumps while inputing 360’s on an arcade stick. I don’t believe in any controller that can instantly make you good at a fighting game. Just try a bit longer and if it continues to not make sense to you maybe it isnt for you :\
You need to spend more time with it. I don’t know how anyone would think they could pick up a new control scheme in less than a week. Your hands will stop hurting in a week or two. I switched to hitbox because sticks gave me RSI, and I haven’t had any problems since. The only thing I still have issues doing are half circle motions, but in tekken you don’t need to worry about those.
Of course it isn’t for everyone. I had only been playing FGs about a year and using stick probably only 9 or 10 months when I got my hitbox so the transition was overall not as difficult for me.
so i am trying to do the walking ultra like in the video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f4wjymikbvQ . however it only comes out when i mess the inputs up for example d f d f + triple punch never works but if i hit the down back slightly off it will come out. Can someone explain what’s going on in the game here? and what is your technique for the walking ultra?
hey guys who has the most success in usf4 with the hitbox?
i know in other games people do well with the hitbox
but in usf4 i dont know good hitbox players
We’ve mentioned before why we don’t want to do the neutrik thing.
Like most people in the community, we’re doing what we can. Can’t say when we’ll have more to tell you folks, but for now PS360+ does offer a workaround for PS4 users to play for 8 minutes at a time and manually reset without unplugging the controller, allowing you to stay in the game.
Well I guess I have to wait until you guys offer a PS4 option since I find the resetting inconvenient.
I have one of your PS3s model so I wanted one for PS4 as well.
