Hi people. I thought I’d introduce myself by asking some questions I’ve been wondering about relating to frame data in fighting games.
- Do startup frames include the frames of the input of the move itself? Or does it only count the frames after the input?
- Does the first active frame of a move start as soon as it can hit an opponent, or is it the frames after the hit frame that is counted?
Sorry if I asked confusingly and yes I’ve read the guide on here, but this is all new to me and it’s hard to sink in lol.
