I like what’s happening in this thread so i decided to do one of my own. Here i took Bison from Street FIghter II and recreated him based on Poots’ specs.
Cool Bison. Reminds me of those devArt pixel ID’s. 
[deviantArt has ID’s where members draw sprite versions of themselves. Resembles yours almost.]

Whoa. His face looks like some SF Art I’ve seen [can’t recall nor link…at the moment]. Coo’ stuff BlakMind.
Skin colors are wrong and some lines are too pixelised but that’s pretty cool work ^^

I think thats Udon style. The lines make him look older so if you said post SFIII Ryu itd have made a better impression.

yeah he has great perspective, good angles. None of the hand placement is awkward hard to do. Have any pencil art?

here’s ramon from king of fighters. i was getting used to work with sprites with high resolution and then i did this one and had some trouble with it. his face and hand had to be completely made up. there just wasn’t enough pixels to define those parts of his body. actually, his hand was pretty much there but it just didn’t work the way it was. i had draw it over and over until it looked decent. i did some research on him so i could do his face correctly.
