That looks very nice, after looking at it for a while I could only spot one thing that you could remotely deem “off”. His right elbow area there’s a line that kind of pops during the loop. There’s one on his raised leg too, but now I’m just nitpicking. The cloth looks really smooth. Awesome work. On animating in Flash: do you intend to use tweening? If so, you know what would be just too good… if you animated an idle stance at 60fps. Just an idea XD
yeah there are a lot of things that are off on his animation, not only on my version. the original had some weird shit like the way his shorts were moving. anyways, the reason why so much shit got through was because i only used pshop and image ready to animate him. i don’t like going betwixed the two programs because you have to keep track of so much shit.
as for making future sprites in flash, what i meant was just using it like a digital flip book, using the timeline and onion skins to trace the lines of the animation better, then import it back to pshop. it would be cool to do a character in 60 fps though.
At that size and with the quality… You would have to make a retarded amount of single frames unless… You use transitional frames. Most people do that, create 2 frams that are far apart in movement then use the program to transition them into a smooth movement.
Would be a huge file though>.>

Are the sprites scaled up when the camera is zoomed in? From every screenshot I’ve seen, this is what it looks like. I’ve wanted to know for a while which sprites are higher resolution, BB or KOFXII. I thought kofxii at first because the sprites were taller on the screen than BB, while both are 720p res games. On the other hand you can clearly see the pixels on the kofxii sprites, appearing as if the sprites have been scaled up while the camera is zoomed in.
It looks roughly 3-4 times original size. There is far too much detail to be less then that… It’s a shame Athena looks like a retard lol.
4 times would be a good size for 1080p… Kinda big for 720p… It’s easier to have a scaling system then just to make different resolutions.
imo blakmind that spiderman looks way better than the ones before, whatever youre doing with that one keep doing it! not that the other ones look horrid or anything but that spider man really stands out.
im going to try to make a sagat and gief. if i understand this correctly basically what you do is resize the sprite and add pixels to make the jaggies more rounded, correct? and fill in details that should be there
