I think you have to make some hard choices as Governor, and I can’t fault Gregoire for prioritizing roads, education, and everything else over the greedy thieves running the Sonics. ESPECIALLY when the economy is in a down-turn. It was kind of a lose-lose situation, no?
And as much as I love Ballmer and the last minute funding coalition… it was the last minute. I don’t think Rossi would have effected any meaningful change upon what happened, and if he did in the last minute rushed nature that it turned out to be, you’re probably going to have some dumb plan that then badly cuts some other state funding. Money turns out not to be free. =\

So I’ve been an unemployed single bum for over two years now. As such, I have no real responsibilities. My friend suggested that I spend some of my time leading up to the election as a volunteer for a group that she occasionally works with: The Working Families Coalition… The irony was lost on her.

Sadly, it’s looking like Prop 8 will pass. It’s at 53% currently, but that may change.
I sincerely hope that it does not pass!
