Blanka’s most apparent characteristic is his green color. His in-game storyline states that he was once extremely pale and was once known locally as the homem branco (white man) and adapted the branco into his name Blanka. His green skin color in the games is attributed to his constant use of chlorophyll from plants to better blend in with the jungle environment, a color change that eventually became permanent. gohzard: you can bait out yoga fires with lp.ball (provided you are at max range - full screen) and sliding right after. hits em clean. if sim is doing repeated hp’s, you can upball it (not an easy thing to do btw) or c.sp. again, hits em clean. once you get the knockdown and you are going for crossup games…ALWAYS anticipate the teleport and punish accordingly. hope this helps. sim is an uphill battle regardless, but i’d rather fight sim over balrog anyday.

ggs clean21, yea pad sucks. get your hands on a pair of sticks if you can. it will make elec combos alot easier for you.
moval any tips on how to deal with blocks strings that push you out of up ball range? do you just have to accept it and work back into range?
I.E. Guile can do 2x c.lk pokes then double sweep. After the first sweep I think you are just right out of upball range.
we should get a match sometime, maybe i’ve improved slightly.
against guile, if im being hit with blockstrings followed by c.rh, i focus attack the 2nd sweep and i dash back as soon as it hits (guile can flash kick back if you don’t dash back). you can also ultra the 2nd hit of his sweep. umm characters with projectiles doing c.lp, c.lp, c.mk, fireball block strings - you can ex ball through the fireball/sonic booms.
