No, I just stick to s.HP xx HC, Blockakusa, to be honest. The people I play against hold back. Sometimes even Blockakusa fails due to walk-speed or hit-box stuff … fuck Balrog.

about the fukiage -> jump HP -> dash crouch (to not crossdown) i was talking about.

I found an easier way to do it (and its strange to see).
simply do: fukiage -> jump HP -> dash -> stLK (whiff before opponent lands).
It does the same

st.hk after karakusa to set up a reset probably isn’t that good. I think st.hk after karakusa is only good when you know it’s going to stun because you get less damage scaling than you would from st.hp xx hayate.

That’s pretty smart, considering the stun on s.HK and the fact that a Karakusa after a previous Karakusa and attack or two it’s pretty easy to know when the stun is coming. Good stuff, I’ve just been doing s.HP xx HP Hayate.

I’ve been having issues with her Instant-Axe Kick. The way I’ve been doing it is the Cammy way, the inputs I use are
:d::db::b::ub::mk:

I get jb.MK but no Axe Kick. I want to know the proper input of how to get the instant Axe Kick out. :rolleyes:

If you jump back you wont ever get any tsurugi, its either neutral or forward jump; and you cant input tsurugi the cammy way.
You must do: :u::qcb::k: or:uf::qcb::k: , REAL quick.

I see, so real quick… I’ve doing doing regular axe kick instead of instant. I’ll go check this out in training. Thanks for your help.

Actually Yomi showed me yesterday that you can do ith with :hcb::uf: kick but you have to hit kick after she’s reached the proper height. With LK Tsurudi it can be done SOOOOOOO low lol. But the timing is really weird. It done exactly like Vipers Low Trajectory Burn kick. If you do it with the correct timing, you just do 319K and it will come out. Just got to hit the kick later than you think.

This will also prevent those damn accidental half screen Karakusas from coming out lol.

I’d just like to say EX Hayate, LP Fukiage, j.HP fake cross-up works well on good players. I’m gonna test later when I wake up (it’s 6 AM here), but are there any safe Tsurugi setups or any great risk vs. reward option after if they don’t quick rise? That’d be a sick mix-up, considering the j.HP is nigh unpunishable by most reversals by itself!

Can someone enlighten with the characters that this cross up works on ? I tried it against cammy but he’s a smart player and he walked forward a bit so maybe I missed it ? I remember seeing vryu do it to cammy in his vid but it didnt work -.-

It sometimes misses, I think if they quick rise at a different timing?

And Option Select to Vs Fei to Beat Chiken Wing On wake up

Lp Os s.Lp -> s.Lp -> Mp -> Hayate/Ex Oroshi

It works with karakusa FFS or stHP EX oroshi too.
And the only way to block is down-forward
