Any TAC options for the raccoon? I feel very limited in the air

Nope. Nothing swag, really. H > S is pretty much it. Maybe Iā€™ll try to find something with at least one rocket skate, but I doubt it.

What do you guys usually do against Sentinel/Hidden Missiles/Akuma Tatsu? RR canā€™t punish Sent from fullscreen with a teleport because missiles protect him. You canā€™t approach up close cuz of HSF and Tatsu. You canā€™t call assists cuz of HSF, the mouth lasers, and Tatsu. You canā€™t attempt a happy birthday with RRā€™s super cuz of HSF and the missiles that made it out. Setting up traps is useless because Sent stays away fullscreen spamming mouth lasers, missiles, and drones. On top of all this, Sent is just building meter by the second. The only things Iā€™ve been able to do was crouch under the mouth lasers and :h: burrow to avoid missiles. I also can shoot Sent from fullscreen in the face with cr. :h: but that doesnā€™t hit Doom out of missiles. :frowning:

Sentinel? I c.H, c.H, c.H ,c.H xx whatever etc. Wonā€™t let him call out the missiles, Rock ā€˜nā€™ Roll the call on reaction if Sent isnā€™t at neutral, otherwise itā€™s just like dealing with Missiles usually, most other characters will give you more problems with missiles backing them up.

Yeah, thatā€™s what I tried to do, but the guy I was fighting would counter with HSF and plow right through Rock N Roll. I would wait to see if I could catch him while he was meterless, but with all of his zoning he seemed to have meter all the time. I never really had a problem with this set up until I fought a couple of high-level players that used it right. It counters my whole team so good.

normals can be canceled into burrow. If youā€™re far enough away you should be able to duck right under HSF. Level 3 is also an option if you have the meter.

Is there a way to not teleport while wave dashing?

Itā€™s looking solid. Iā€™ve started to use the team too, so I canā€™t really say much. Frank is still really new to me. Iā€™ll have to watch it again for more specific feedback though when I have time.

Actually one minor thing. If Spencer does a point blank bionic arm, v.dodge it. Chances are heā€™ll try to bait out your super by xfactoring.

Try plink dashing, H, LM,ā€¦
or time it so you donā€™t teleport

What do you guys think of Tonosamaā€™s rocket raccoon?

Best offline RR Iā€™ve seen. He actually keeps moving, uses all of his great tools properly, and doesnā€™t use net trap. (#1 sign of a lackluster RR)

He does use net trap at times but very uncommon

Does net trap scale more than shrapnel trap?

It scales like a throw. So thatā€™s 50% scaling right?

Iā€™ve noticed you can also do hard tag combos off a net trap if youā€™re lucky since its a very hard knockdown as well as theyā€™re airborne for a bit too. Doom comes to mind

I use it when I need to tag out. Someone gets caught by it, and Doom gets a free combo. Plus, it doesnā€™t disappear if the tagged out character is hit.

Youā€™re not using enough assists. Use rocket raccoonā€™s spitfire assist, it should help both ryu and ammy. Put rocket raccoon on second, him on anchor is terrible. Ammy is a better anchor. Youā€™re not moving around a lot with RR, he needs to be all over the screen placing traps like no tomorrow.
And youā€™re too damn predictable with ryu.

Iā€™m repping Rocket Raccoon in NEC this weekend. Hope I can beat some of these guys.
