possibly cuz M has so much forward momentum and doesn’t seem to auto-correct that the j.S will whiff, so you either go straight into M S or skip the M entirely and go to H S.
what??? the california accent AKA HOLLYWOOD is the general american accent and is the accent known across the world mostly cause of… yep, movies and tv.
also, this 'coon is a badass, just sayin

Chris has way more health (Like 450k more), does more damage, and probably has better options fullscreen. For Rocket to get going he really has to get midscreen or closer.
Yeah. I live on the east coast, and most people I talk to have a california accent. People with midwest accents get made fun of.
The first thing I thought when I saw his trailer was… “Man, he’s like a foul mouthed Sparkster with guns!”
I think if you want extended air combos with Rocket you’re probably going to be cancelling into the rocket skates (if you can, that is). His j. is really awkward and is basically and air dash fused with an attack so it’s hard to combo with leaving you only with his j.:l: and j.:h: to combo with.
He also only has a single jump. Rocket skates seem to chain into each other three times it may be possible to use it like three jumps? Once again this is all speculation. Maybe something like this will work:
:s: j.:l::h: xx Rocket Skates xx :l::h: xx Rocket Skates xx :h: xx Rocket Skates xx :s: xx Bear Trap xx Log Trap xx Rock and Roll Hyper Combo
Team COON AND FRIENDS!

Pheonix can be Kenny since she works best when she dies.
California accents are top tier.
why no midair traps?
Can other attacks detonate Oil Trap, or is it just the blaster? I was thinking of maybe using assists for Raccoon.
I was thinking more of the usual reporter accent, but you’re right that West Coast accents are pretty much everywhere in movies and tv.
Speaking of accents, it’s slightly ironic that a North American native animal speaks like a football hooligan.
Not sure if this has been mentioned, but one of his alts is from Annihilation: Conquest.
… thats the thing though… the usual reporter accent is the california accent.
idk where your getting it that its a midwestern accent… i have friends from the midwest (kansas/missouri) and there accents are native and are only this side of a full southern drawl. now i ALSO have friends from that area that have FULL ON california accents… but i surmise thats from tv and … being white LOL.
i have fam in tennessee and know what a full southern accent IE hillbilly shit is as well.
btw im born and raised in cali…
and yeah, dude is right… midwestern accents get made fun of:
pronounce “air”
“er”?
pronounce “ear”
“er”…
me… facepalms

That’s not the Midwestern accent I was talking about. Try Iowa/Illinois outside of Chicago.
Reminds me of Predator, which is awesome. Even has “GET TO DA CHOPPA” level 3.
Perhaps Capcom didn’t want Trish to feel redundant.
I note that that supposed RR leak of a while ago was so very very very wrong.
Also, because wikipedia is handy, 'The area of the
United States where the local accent is most similar to General American"

yeah, thats the californian accent. i find it weird to consider it a midwestern accent since most people would associate that with the states i named, plus the californian/iowan/illini/oregonian/washingtonian accents which are all pretty much the same but *slightly *different, ARE popularized by californian tv programs…
but it seems we agree so lets just agree to agree and get back on topic:
rockets accent is a british/english accent.
it definitely isnt an aussie accent though aussie accents are of course english… i know this cause i live in australia, and that coon dont sound like any aussies i know but he does sound like my english co worker.

I swear dis nigga says “COME ON” like fox in smash bros in his reveal trailer
RRs accent im 99% certain is a stereotypical cockney accent (british) which comes from london, so i can see where people may think its australian etc etc. if i could be bothered id find a few vids on youtube to demonstrate, but eh, whatever.
i would play him just for his voice actually.
What’s so great about the log trap as an assist is that not only does it come out fast and control a lot of space, but RR is in the far back so he his difficult to punish (similar to Doom Beam), not to mention his very small hit box. Seems very spammable, the ability to control a lot of space, in other words, fantastic zoning tool. And I haven’t even mentioned the wall bounce which means free combo. Only way to reliably punnish it for a medium or long distance would be with a beam super. Also, it’s so fast, it could potentially be used as a GTFO tool, not as good as Tron Fire of course, but more of an air Akuma Tatsu.
What’s your take on the log trap assist? Is it better than the double shot?
First off: Wanker is allowed in a T-Rated game? Or do they just not expect most people to know what it means?
With that out of the way, I’ll say that I’m looking forward to him because he might actually make me like zoning. He just looks too fun. Plus, he reminds me of an angry Sniper from TF2.
Thinking about running Nemesis/Hsien-Ko/Rocky, maybe with his double shot assist. Only problem is a team weakness to beams, or so it seems.
Can someone explain how his Spring Trap works? Still a little unclear after Seth.
And does he ever use anything like that in the comics?
