yeah, i only managed to get like 2 games in or so…i’ll have to plan some casuals on a day that i don’t actually have to work as well. I definitely need to get some combo practice with Fei, i’m totally losing out in the damage race.

hey all, sorry dudes, no shows today
i’ll have to schedule an event when i can get some ringers and myself available to play, feel bad when somebody comes out and nobody is here at all. October Saturdays are all jammed up, so it’ll most likely be a Sunday or some weekday. I’ll try to get one or two of my buddies to fill in as players…possibly Fadi (Guy player) or Wun (Guile player). My Fei is not quite ready for general population 
You need to give at least 3 days notice and not one day =\ Since people don’t check SRK constantly on a daily basis I’d think.
If you don’t practice, your Fei won’t be ready at all =P. Also, do you do your casuals at home anymore? I’m stuck at home doing nothing… and I don’t want to play online LOL

Man, I’ve been too busy lately on Saturdays because I found another part time job and requesting Saturdays was kinda not a good idea but I believe I’m good for them now.
Anyway me and my buddy grow tire of playing each other since we are constantly sparring with our new mains(Ibuki vs Akuma), best to see how far we’ve gone by going to the casuals from now on.
Yup, recently got a 360, 360 pad sucks and dual modding my Qanba 3 Wireless stick costs as much as a new HRAP VX…Just been padding with a PS2 controller attached to a 360 adapter along with a wired 360 controller(requires it to trick the 360)…
Anyway, I believe for an extra bus fare, the 68B(Warden North) goes up to Highway 7.
i’m down for gaming for a few hours on sundays. and yea, you should give a few days notice for causals so people can plan ahead.
i’ll try and make it out one of these sundays since i’m pretty close by, haven’t really played ssf4 that much lately though so i’ll be in super scrub status.
please tell me you got the adapter at a local store, I don’t want to order one online

He’s in Scarborough(Dragon Center down Sheppard past Midland), I know the owner’s history. He has had his own booth at what used to be a flea market at Sheppard and Midland modifying systems and stuff from 1998 and up. Recently, he owns a small shop and he sells “custom” fight sticks which are the standard slanted ones third party company uses. What amazed is that he has a third party twin arcade stick there, anyway, paid $30 for the adapter and he’s got some weird business hours(5pm to 10pm)…
Sucks if casuals are moved to Sundays lol~

here’s what i’ve got so far:
Casuals (Mid-week mix-ups!)
Wednesday October 6th @ 5:00pm to 9:00pm
Wednesday October 13th @ 5:00pm to 9:00pm
$5 Entry per night
Mini Tourney
Saturday October 16th @ 1:00pm to 6:00pm
4-5 Rounds of Swiss style pairing
Must register 1 Main character and 1 alternate
$10 Entry Fee ($5 for the shop, $5 goes into prize pool)
Trying something new with the tourney, it’s a format i usually run for other events. It’ll be swiss style pairing meaning winner play winners, you’ll play at least 4-5 matches and you’ll have an over all ranking so you’ll see where you are in relation to everybody that comes out…i’ll also include some free give aways (SF related posters and comics) The prize payout will have to be ironed out (exact percentages), but if we only get 8 ppl it’ll go to the top two spots, more than 8ppl the prizes will possibly go to top 4
I’ll have the usual setups:
1 Xbox 360
1 PS3 (All costumes)
2 Madcatz SE sticks (all system compatible)
1 Arcadewhips Champions edition (all system compatible)
2 Hori EX joysticks (Xbox 360)
1 Hori EX Fight pad (Xbox 360)
2 PS3 Controllers
i could possibly ask if someone want’s to bring in another ps3 or Xbox360 so we can run a 3rd setup (just need console and game, no need for chords) and it’s always welcome if ppl wanna bring their own sticks

neat idea, I can see good and bad points with this format, but it’s worth a shot for something different. I hope this works out well!

oh guile is actually banned from this format…as well as all shotos…haha just kidding
you can switch the ultra no problem…i’m also thinking that you must use your main the first game of each match…then after first game you can switch to you alternate…this way you can’t just counter pick…but i dunno how i’d have it so during the 2nd game you don’t see who your opponent pics until you pick (similar to online)
yeah, i know it’s not the typical format…but i would like to give it a shot just to see if it could work and be more fun…hopefully ppl are willing to give it a chance
