Was just watching Excellent Adventures of Gootecks and Mike Ross, it was hilarious since Marn, Gootecks and Mike Ross were using Ibuki(they all lost).

yeah, a somewhat quieter night with our numbers hovering around the 8-10 player mark. Lower turn out means i get games in though!!

VS Steve (Ibuki) - fun games vs Ibuki! the more i see here the more i like what she can do…maybe i’ll start playing around with her in training mode. We went pretty much back and forth here, but we never got too serious so it was pretty fun. You should get matt to play ibuki against you, he’s got some really good tricks and traps with her…apparently my EX CW dosen’t go though the air knife, so i’d abuse that a little more if you can, and it creates some nasty cross up situations…Matt easily scored a perfect on me with her after someone told him to perfect me!!!
VS Aaron (Balrog) - not bad aaron, i think your learning the fei long match up much better now. We only got in a few games so we’ll have to jam again next time. and we should get in a match or two of HD Remix next time!
VS new bison player (Bison) - freaking ouch! bison is nasty! new player (sorry i didn’t get your name) totally smashed me. I think in only won a few rounds here, but never a match. I definitely gotta work on that bison match up!
VS Matt (Various) - he pretty much owned me again with multiple characters. i manged to get a few wins when you were dicking around with random characters. I still haven’t faced one of your mains yet, so we’ll see what happens when i actually do that. Gotta stop mashing against you! and i think i only hit my combo once! Must keep training!
VS Jason (Goken) - only played like two or three matches before i had to go but it was nice to see goken represented! I had the jump on you at first, cause i think you didn’t know the match up, but you manged to stomp my face the last match! i’ll have to get some more games in next time, cause i know you said you weren’t feeling your combos today…looks like your joystick has seen better days 
lessons learned:
-Dhalsim owns my face still, matt proved it easily! Gotta figure out ways to get in on him…time to load up mago videos!
-stop mashing! gotta get more precise with my execution, less panic movements
-Matt gave me some good advice “Make sure everything you do is for a reason.” I know it’s a general concept but it’s different when you hear it from someone you play instead of reading it on the internet. gotta learn not to just throw out random moves with no real plan behind them…the gotta have reasons for using them, either to chip, create block stun, poke, whatever…can’t just hit buttons because they are there. Ha! see matt you can teach!
Next time i gotta get in games against Patrick (Akuma), you’ve been in so many times and i haven’t played you yet!!

Hey Stephen here, I was that bison player today and it was my first time coming to Heroes World. I had a great time, definitely great competition here and I learned a lot as well. Great range of characters instead of the Ryu’s I often face online or against my friends haha. You guys can feel free to add me on PSN: Chau-Dude if any of you guys want to have some casuals online even though the quality isn’t the greatest lol.
oh cool to meet you stephen! your bison is pretty fierce! i forgot that he totally owns me…even when played by ppl that don’t use him…and you definitely know how to use him! I’ll have to rematch you so i can learn the match up for sure
Hey guys, just a heads up, we might be moving casuals around in the month of december! since it’s the holidays we might even add more days since ppl might be off. I also am aware that the Arcade edition will hit in the month of december, so i know we may lose some players but i’ll still keep some casual days going.
So far we might move the Wednesdays to Tuesdays because we can play a bit later on that day (till 10 at least), but i’ll post up when everything is confirmed.
also we’re working on getting a kinect for the shop here, so perhaps we can get some crazyness going, maybe ppl can even bring out their GFs or wifeys or whoever!

Thanks man, I still have problems against any Fei Long player, his pokes have excellent range and can be a serious prob for a gouken player . Against a gouken I’d say utilize ur poke’s range and keep him from getting to you while capitalizing on openings. I know giving away this secret will probably have everyone kicking my butt, but hey its just one more hurdle to overcome in the process of getting better 
. As for the stick issue , I think u hit the head on the nail, when u said it was probably because i was so used to the lag from an old version tv that i use. I’ve never played offline before Heroes World or SF4 in arcades and since I don’t have a good LCD TV or even a decent one at that lol, It will just take some time getting use to playing over there lol. Right now My biggest prob is that GUY player. I really don’t know the GUY match up and his style of using him , is a bit incomprehensible for me lol , but he gave me a cool tip, that will come in handy for me, and I respect him for that. Played some awesome abel player, a really good Bison player just before I left, a good rog player and of course ur fei lol. SO I’d say it was a good run for me and I hope to have a lot of Good ones at HW … just hope I can make it next time … damn job lmao.
