GGs to Blitzman and everyone else I played today. I was the guy with the Doraemon shirt. Played Marvel quite a bit. Should have that game there since it’s a comic book store and it’s Marvel LOL
good showing today everybody! thanks to all that came out! We had about 5 stations going and probably could have used a 6th.
I’ll have to try and make sure i get all the stations in the game room next time…unless ppl didn’t mind going back and forth to see what games were going on. also looks like there is good demand for MVC2! I think we have about 3 systems with it so we could run more of that if ppl want.
I managed to get in some good games before all the chaos started:
Vs Pat (Rose) - pat’s getting better, he used to be a jump around fool but he’s learning. and rose is proving to be pretty good…damn you U2!! Hard to tell if anyone really had edge here cause we were screwing around alot
Vs Dingdongoutlaw (i wanna say nate? sorry REAL name slipped my mind) (Ken and others) - i’d say matches were pretty even when we were using characters we actually knew how to play. some sillyness did ensue when we started picking other characters…gief managed to get in some U2s! I wanna play your main next time to see how i stack up, i remember you destroying me with honda/el when i was still running cody/chun, i’d like to see if i made any progress
Vs Nathan (Abel) - the rematch! previously i got totally stomped! this time i put up more of a fight. I had to beat him to the rush down, and abuse the rekkas. I’m quite happy with how i held up, definitely need more combo work to really get in there on the damage race. These matches were extremely fast paced and a blast to play.
other matches i didn’t get to play:
rematch VS Matt aka blitz - lots of fun last time…but i’d like to play one of your mains matt to see if i can actually do ANYTHING!
rematch VS Wun Yan (guile) - still need to work on the guile match up…i dunno if i’ve ever beat your guile yet…i’m thinking no
Vs Ben (goken) - always get to see you play but haven’t played you yet. I’ve seen quite a few goken’s online, i’d like to see how the offline version plays

I think I’m still at the stage of deciding who to main. I’m still messing with everyone. Rose seems fun to play, same as Ken. Yea I played Honda back in vanilla SF4 but I can’t do HHS even if my life depended on it. I’m just exploring more characters at the moment.

Overall, I think I lost because I was doing stupid shit… and dropping combos… wow did I drop a lot.
haha, yeah, it’s good to try several…took me a while to figure it out too…i went from Guile -> Balrog -> Honda -> Cody -> Guile -> Chun Li -> Fei Long. Seems i mesh most with fei at the moment, enough that i’ll actually try to learn/practice his combos…funny now that i can’t seem to play any of those other characters at all now
i think rose is pretty good to, she seems to be a new HOT character.
really…i dunno if i remember ever beating your guile…also stop using cody! haha he’s making your guile worse the more you use him!

but i agree, playing your cody prolly makes your guile worse. im surprised fadi didnt get to show up today, actaully. i was hoping to learn some of his guy tricks. no joke.
