LOL, we did play last night. You have a very nice Rog man, I couldn’t really get in at all to apply pressure. Balrog’s always a tough match-up for me, him and Guile. I really need more practice.

i’m only running xboxes tonight though…so bring your xbox stick if you got…or if someone want’s to haul out a ps3 and game (don’t need chords or anything) i can get a 3rd set-up going…but perhaps it might be fun to run it arcade styles…or at least do best of 3, so tourney styles

3s would be interesting…but the only way we can play it right now is if we bust out the old xbox or ps2…or possibly DC…the emulators aren’t really great for the game. Next year when they do the xbox live and psn versions then we can definetly get that going
Hey Jon, if you ever need it, I have a PS2 with Anniversary Edition (3S/ST). I just don’t have any sticks for PS2. Probably not worth it in the end but, I just put it out there to help.

I’d also be more than happy to teach people the game and help them improve, it’s my main tournament game. I wouldn’t be able to teach every character though, they all play so differently from one another.
I also have a copy of the Anniversary Collection (3rd Strike) for the original Xbox, and so does my buddy, so there’s that.
what’s wrong with the emulators? The emulation runs fine, better than the anniversary collection imo.
i suspect it’s my computer causing the most problems
problem with running on xboxes and ps2…1) joysticks, we’ll need adapters or system specific sticks 2) monitors, unless you guys all have xbox or ps2 vga kits i can’t use the monitors we have now

good idea…i’m sure if you just ask some of the more veteran players they can explain it to you very easily. I’d probably ask chowwun (guile and cody player) if he’s there on next casuals, he taught me a ton of stuff, and even helped me though the crappy psn chat one time…also if Robin (fei long and makoto player) he really helped me with my fei long plinking…i must say it’s alot easier once you see it in person
