Can’t wait for AE casuals !!! Is there going to be like a mini tournament when it comes out?
good showing tonight guys! hope everybody got some good games in.
once league season 2 wraps up…or i think it has wrapped. I’d like to possibly get some mini tourneys going…i believe next week AE will be out, i’ll be getting the DLC version for my xbox so we should have at least one system running it (i plan to load up on disc versions when they hit, so dunno how many systems will be running dlc version)…1 system more than enough to get a small tourney rolling, i’m assuming possibly another person could bring a DLC version in as well. Be sure to give us your input on what you’d like to see happen at casuals by either posting up, pm’ing me, or letting me know at the shop. So far i’ve had requests for mini tournaments like we used to do.
No more MvC3 when AE comes out. lol kidding.
So far I see nothing wrong with the casuals, in fact, tonight looked pretty even for SSFIV and MvC3 with the alternate station for “other” titles(initially Blazblue then Mk9).
Get the DLC version for that wonky X360 that can’t read discs properly lol.
What’s the benefit of getting the disc over the electronic copy?
- costs more
- released later
- can’t “share” the costs… hehehehehe…
- you get a physical copy
- save hdd space, i suppose

I understand PS3 can be shared between 5 systems but how does Xbox exactly work? I remember Jon said something about one DLC working on 2 Xboxes but that’s about it. You still need the SSFIV disc for the DLC but Wun Yan does make a point about some of the “older” Xboxes there.

my ps3 is already maxed out with share slots so i can’t even share the content if i wanted to…unless somebody can tell me how to kick ppl off my shared list.
disc copy will be easier for organizing…DLC locks to one xbox/ps3, or requires you to be online to activate it…makes organizing set-ups and stations alot more strict, disc allows us to simply have the disc on hand as opposed to the specific system, the hd, SSFIV disc and some kinda net connection.
i’m working on obtaining a few NEW xboxes for casuals so we don’t have to deal with my old ghetto systems, i’ll also be trying my double up on DLC scam on xbox, we’ll see if it works. If anybody has the old style XBOX HD that they don’t want anymore let me know cause i’ll be looking for those.
Steve or Hidey if your getting DLC we can possibly have 3 AE stations set up and can run a mini tourney next week no problem
I’m down with some DOA4 action…me, Justin and Andre used to rock face in that game! If you are serious i’ll get to re-unlocking all the crap in that game. For all you haters it’s a fun game that ANYBODY can play, that has a value…plus it’s got tag team!!
Man!! Deathsmiles II, AE, Gold renewal and Blazblue characters to buy…I’m starting to hate DLC now! Anyone know if there’s some sort of deal on XBLA that will be cheaper for renewal + more points for less monies?
PS3 is a bit of trouble if you lost track of your friends to deactivate shared consoles. The user needs to login into his PSN account then goto his account preferences/settings then goto the activation/deactivation tab and then deactivate their PS3. This is somewhat of a stupid thing IMO that Sony will not let the master sharer disable by themselves which means that I would have one slot free for shared DLC but Patrick/Padkuma went and shared one of my slots to his friend. I’ve been asking him to disable the account but I don’t even know where the guy went(about 2 years now).
To be honest, I’ve not play DOA4, I think I got it because I got every Xbox DOA game and it was on sale lol!
