Rexxar’s not bad but require positioning
Abathur is godlike but requires teammates and skills that don’t suck
Most notably, given the Warrior heavy Meta, Butcher(who can out damage and out last any tank) and Abathur(Who turns tanks into assassins) are both in good spots, but require a fair amount of work to maximize
Rexxar feels a lot better than he looked when initially dropped. Tried him a few times on free week and the leash mechanics are pretty damn fun to use. He does require a level more than usual to use just for positioning and getting the most out of Misha.
Butcher I just think is pretty fun and he has a few builds that are enjoyable. Abathur is just totally unique and a blast to play around with.
But yeah I know nothing of this new meta or recent patches. So I’m clueless. Already have every Tank who isn’t Artanis or Shield chick.
Started actually playing this last night. Not a bad game, but I’m a little confused about a few things, mainly the free heroes. I keep levelling up and getting a new hero rotation slot (unlocks an additional free hero). How does this work? I selected Diablo as my first free hero (probably gonna buy him when I can afford him, almost got enough gold), so how do the additional heroes work? How many free heroes can I use in game, each week or whatever?
You eventually hit a max of free heroes slots you can use per week based on your player level.
(Don’t quote me on the player levels, just an example)
Like… A new player at lv 1 might be only able to use hero A, B, C for the week. If he hits lv 5, he can use hero D, E and if he is level 10, he can use hero F.
Then every week he is able to use all heroes from A to F that are available on the rotation after he hits 10.
So if you can use Diablo this week and get him to lvl whatever, he won’t be available next week on a new rotation.
But you mainly want to get all heroes to lvl 7 or 8 or something, for the free gold.

Just an FYI: the patch today offers a free hero from a pool of six. If you have the first three, you can select from the next three, if you have all of them you get 4k gold.
Also an event to collect artifacts to receive a Stimpack and Banner.
Also Ala whatever dropped along with the first SC map. Zara and the second map will hit in two weeks.

They do seem to overlap, but… fucking probes are awesome, and somehow he has more lasers than gazlowe. I think Probius is gonna be more for defense, and Gazlowe is more for mercs and offense, but we’ll see how it plays out.
Well Gazlowe is getting a rework anyways so they may address that. Chogall and Arthas as well.
Anyone want to do the mount thing lemme know. Just grind bots for it, missed the last two freebies.

Probius, Gazlowe teamups
I’ve seen Horsepants play Probius for a fair amount, his damage is pretty damn good. Abit inconsistent prior to 10 but good burst, current damage ult is absurd. Pretty good at zoning so far, 100 mana per sec regen under pylon, wave clear is good, a tad bit squishy so vulnerable to zeratul, but all in all pretty good.
Just like SC2, they got it right!
It is also PTR, they usually do a good job tweaking the characters before launch to balance them out so any early information could change.
I can only think of a few on one hand that came out of PTR garbage though so I have some faith.
