I settled in around rank10 solo, which is good enough for me to not want to bother grinding to r1 lol. imo it’s definitely doable solo.
I prefer solo HL because I hate getting those premades who are on voicechat and never ping/chat or have mute all turned on. Still gonna get those in solo but at least it’s gonna be just one guy not communicating and not half your team.
The tile set is cool, just I didn’t expect another big map for Diablo and BoE is my least liked one for that reason. I’ll have to try it, maybe it encourages laning better than that one did.
uther and malfurion are better all-rounders, whereas rehgar requires a team comp that can get a lot out of his burst heal. otherwise he loses to both uther and malfurion in utility and gets outhealed/DPSed by malfurion.
blizz is running a different build of the game at gamescom where KT no longer has ignite, among other changes:
it’s funny that grubby can’t remember if kerrigan’s b4b is better than regular b4b, because nobody takes b4b anymore lol.
thing of the deep is interesting though. it’s slightly less range than malfurion’s range booster and it’s a 13 talent instead of a 7, but it’s going to be on a hero who actually does damage.
if those changes go through i’ll probably pick up naz next. i always thought he was a really safe pusher/teamfighter before, that’s going to be even more ridiculous now.
Yeag Nazeebro is cool, I have a lot of fun using him. New Gilbinn maaay actually allow different builds to be possible with the other frog changes and condensed zombie traits. Currently everyone just goes spider man and it works well.
It’d be nice to see some buffs for his other ult, maybe a short period where he can’t be stunned out of it. Damage buffs are interesting but only if he can set it up perfectly.
I suspect that hit to Water Elemental and it’s subsequent lack of chill are gonna hurt more than one would expect. That provided incredibly easy chill to capitalize on
More importantly, I like the Azmodan changes. Now maybe he won’t be only a threat on Tomb.
Monk looks great, but terrible at wave clear.
The new map sharing elements from Battlefield of Eternity isn’t anything new. Cursed Hollow/Haunted Mines and Garden of Terror/Dragon Shire share the same general map as well
yeah it’s a change that seems really minor unless you’re a serious jaina player.
which makes the KT changes a bit worrying because it looks like he’s gonna stay pretty close to his original power level while jaina is getting knocked down a peg. top 2 caster is gonna become undisputed top 1.
i wonder if TLV is getting anything in this build.
Wait I was looking at that list, it sounds like Kael Thas is getting a ton of buffs. All buffs in fact. How is KT getting hit hard?
I want them to give more flexibility of choices to the lost vikings, not make them stronger. From what I hear, pre nerf the vikings were much more dynamic with much more variety in how to play and build them.
I like the gathering power nerf, way too auto pick especially for some characters. 5% damage increase to everything from the getgo and can rise much more.
The reason KT is considered so good is that at 16, he gets a talent that applies ignite when he flamestrikes somebody; he is losing that talent. Now it casts a second, half damage flamestrike after a short duration, in the same location.
The entire reason he is considered good is gone
Thats why hes getting buffs to compensate, because he is no longer a “carry to 16 then go off” character. His buffs could balance out, we shall see, but he won’t be the same KT.
