Where did they say kt gets a rework?
There’s so many heroes who need it more…
I remember reading that kt was getting reworked in the future as well. It was in a statement by Blizzard considering the balance changes of the latest patch.
Anyways it seems like tier whoring is not something that is recommended for this game. Apparantly they make changes a lot, so I would suggest just buy the characters you enjoy playing with. By enjoy, I speak of their abilities and unique mechanics, not that you win a lot with them.
Rework is scary though, that means they will change how the character functions therefore it may feel like a whole new character, not the one you fell in love with.
Got the Raynor skin cause I guess he is my TF of this game, just need his master now.
Also ended up grabbing Sonya with gold since her last changes were pretty neat and the whole rework of stuns. I like her.

“rework” is kinda vague. blizz changes a few traits and calls that a rework, gives TLV and raynor massive redos and those are reworks too.
someone in twitch chat said tranquility is bugged and heals malfurion for double what it should. gonna have to look into that later once i’m at home but it would explain why he feels like #1 healer right now.

BF is not a heal bot anymore, they want her more in line with Tass and Tyrande but she is currently worse than both.

Illidan as well, he’s currently 3rd to last. Stitches sucked before the patch and I guess he still does after. Tassadar…well I played him yesterday, strange, but he is at the bottom. Also what happened to ETC? He used to be good I think.
Right now there are 23 heroes below 50% winrate, and only 14 above. Gazlowe is at a perfectly balanced 50%.
Talent diversity is not a rework, they will nerf the flamestrike applying living bomb and call if a rework, mark my words

just tested and confirmed this, it shows two ticks for 55 per second but each tick actually heals 110.

Zeratul. Now that is an assassin! He immediately became one of my favorites. What do assassins do? They sneak about, and kill people usually without them even knowing they are there. Zeratul is all about that, great fun. 10000 gold so I’ll have to wait on him, but wow, how can anyone not love Zeratul?
Zeratul us my most played hero since alpha, when I heard about hots I was itching to play a dark Templar hero
If you haven’t been doing so already, you should try to level up the free rotation heroes to 5. You get 2k (I think)(200 is actually what you get, I thought it was more - sorry!) every time you level up a hero to rank 5, and the first 5 levels are pretty fast IMO.
I want to unlock Nova master skin, but I need 10 heroes first, lol.
Might just need to spend money.
Yeah I try to do that when I have time. However since there are only so many heroes, I’m in no hurry, I’ll get everyone to 5 eventually.
this is such a crappy time to spend money though lol.
a lot of current strong picks are either:
- too new for blizzard to put them on sale in the near future (KT, sylv, johanna)
- recently were on sale, so unlikely to pop up again anytime soon (jaina, anub, uther)
- not 10k, which are less efficient in terms of gold:dollar
a competitive set for HL is pretty affordable in gold right now, and we have treasure goblins giving an extra 100g per day.
don’t buy a stimpack though. unless you use the bonus exp and get a bunch of heroes to lv9/15/20, you need to play like 20 games a day for stimpacks to be worthwhile
Don’t these treasure goblins last the whole eternal conflict event, which is 3 months? That is like 9,000 free extra gold. Then you have the dailies giving you about 2100 gold per week. Then you have the character level up and player level up bonuses. I’ve got Sylvanas, Gazlowe, Zagera, and Sgt Hammer as well as 4000+ gold. I’ve only been playing since the official release. Heroes of the storm is truly free to play cause there isn’t any gameplay disadvantage to not spending real money.
I buy things on sale every now and then, at the reduced price I don’t mind at all. Full price eeeh.
But yeah getting gold really isn’t difficult now that I’ve experienced it more. Got all the 2k and 4k champs now, next will be some 7k. Rather just get a bunch of people early and wait for more 10k people to drop then just go all in on the expensive cast first.
Plus Murky is 7k now, and he’s awesome.
Speaking of Murky, just bought him for 7k gold! 5 specialists, only 4 to go. Then I’ll work on favorite warriors/support/assassins.
Murky is da bomb! There is no down time with him, you die, you instantly get back into the game. The strategic egg placement is its own fun challenge, and enemy heroes seem to hate him. He’s like the best bait, they could just ignore Murk…but multiple heroes chase him foolishly, then he escapes with bubble behind gate. Meanwhile allies are taking objectives or killing other enemy heroes.
Murky is also the worst character in the game in the current meta, and is widely ignored for that reason. Is he fun, yeah, is he good, no way.
