Heroes And Heralds War Room: I Dunno Week

Freaking Megaman…I’m convinced Capcom is trolling me about that last card…

Anyway…

Mephisto*/Kingpin/Kingpin kills anything with one touch…

anyone else on psn? i think its just me and one other guy

If you ever wanna piss people off and chip them to kingdom come, pick M.O.D.O.K./Morrigan, Frank West or Amaterasu/Dormammu. Set the Dark Harmoniser/Pick Me Up/Bloom assist, and as M.O.D.O.K. fly up to the top of the stage at the beginning of the round at maximum height, and spam the meter-building assist, protecting the assist with Balloon Bombs and Psionic Blasters. Make sure your cards are Lin*/Lilith/Miles Edgeworth. Get to 5 bars, and tag in Dormammu. Spam Chaotic Flame and Stalking Flare, using the meter-building assist you have selected in between every usage. If you start to run low on meter, or catch an assist, X-Factor and you’ll regain even more meter. You virtually never run out of meter. I’ve used Hypers well above 20 times in a single match. This destroys computers as well, but I haven’t gotten the chance to attempt this online.

A FFF deck would rape you

A Saber/Luke/Luke deck would probably outlast you and win on time.

It takes meter for every activation, so maybe you could just burn his meter and then continue chipping?

As for Sabretooth/Luke Cage/Luke Kage, it could probably works both ways. If they don’t have anyone who can hit M.O.D.O.K. when he’s flying up above SJ height, they probably would just have to wait out the entire match.

I don’t know, I’m theorizing since my console has been broken for more than a month.

The brokenness of the S/L/L deck is that if you don’t touch them, ALL of their characters heal back to 100%, no matter what their red health is at. So you MUST kill them, preferably with one touch, otherwise they heal back to 100%. This isn’t accomplished by chipping.

Killing a character with one touch isn’t easy, btw, because now a previous 1Mil charcter now has 1.5Mil health. And if you fail to do so with one touch, you get switched on and run from, which builds all that damage back to 100%. Very nasty deck…

Health regen doesn’t affect benched characters, and level 2 regen actually regains health on point faster than many characters will recover red health while benched. This depends on which character you’re talking about, though, since card regen is percentage-based and bench recovery is just a flat life-per-second. The only way to fully regenerate a character who’s been tagged out is to use a card with assist recovery, which makes bench characters regen super fast because it’s percentage-based and stacks with normal red health recovery.

This means that it can actually be to your advantage to, say, snap out Hulk after you’ve landed a big combo. His red health recovery will be much slower than his on-point regen, and he won’t recover whatever life was totally lost. Conversely, if time is running out and you’re losing due to having a damaged assist, it might be advantageous to tag them in to benefit from the increased recovery (especially if it’s a high health character).

Also, your Meph/KP/KP setup is pretty great. If you’ve got the Hero Bonus or want to play a bit more defensively, you can swap Meph for Lilith and your ToD combos will also leave your opponent without meter.

Last time i checked, heroes were still wining on PSN…Not sure tho.

What about Xbl?

So what are people thinking this week on psn? heroes? heralds?

can you use heralds skin in regular multiplayer?

If you mean versus, then yes

Not Online?

you should be able to. you can always check by just going online and checking if the Herald color alt costume is there. i can’t see why you wouldn’t be able to use it.

Heralds on PSN this week. Heroes have won like 7 out of the last 8. It’s got to end!

Damn, should have waited haha. So heralds for the next couple of weeks?

Current status is 36-64 heralds. How in the world did the top guy on the leaderboards already get 2000 points?

By setting his region to something exotic and having a second xbox/copy of the game/account which is set to that same exotic region. He can then set up a couple of turbo controllers, go to bed, and wake up with thousands of points. If he wants to optimize things he’ll do something like pick low-hp characters for his loser account, give them a hp-reducing deck (3x Silver Samurai? or something.), then put a laser-spam Sentinel on his main account with maximum damage bonuses.

Heralds leading with 70 right?

But I don’t think that boosting is as easy as you say. The only choice for region is same or any.

I don’t care how they are winning, just as long as Heralds win soon and often!
