i switched to Heralds and faced Maroon-Atoms…I just beat him. He sucks. His Hulk is NO threat and just bounces back in the corner and calls his Morrigan meter building assist for his D Phoenix. He has Fou Lou for xtra X factor for his Phoenix. After I killed his 1st 2 characters and his DPhoenix came in, all he does is spam feathers, “take this, take this…” and low traps he doesn’t know how to teleport or do medium traps…no wonder he has to boost to be #1 on the leaderboard lol

This works, but you don’t even need to go to the trouble of changing your region, really. If the two of you create+search for a match at the same time, you’ll get paired up pretty quickly without much of a chance of joining another game. I did this on week 1 to pair up with a specific person I wanted to try H&H with.
Not sure how many points exactly, but I know it’s less than 500. I had about 450 or so last week and got five unlocks for it.
For that matter, I had zero points this week and still came up with 5 unlocks. My internet was down up until about 10 minutes before the cutoff for the week, so all I did was pick the Heroes faction and not play any games. I suspect that it kept my record from last week (~450 points) because I had yet to overwrite it with a new week’s record or something. Finally got my CapCom card, too. (Figures that I never got either of the actually rare cards in any of the weeks that I actually put effort into.)
Lol, when I played him he didn’t realize that he could tag in his Dark Phoenix when he had Morrigan left so I was just playing runaway against a shitty Morrigan for half the match.
his Morrigan play is definitely shitty…you know when the player is a scrubby Morrigan when they just mash cr.L until it hit confirms and chains for at least 4+ hits then follow with the S launcher and then TAC x 2.
I accidentally turned his phoenix Dark when he raw tagged her in when he got 5 meters. I raw tagged my Morrigan and stole some meter with the S.Soul Fist but it wasn’t enough. I eventually Happy Birthday’d his Hulk w/Morrigan assist and just slowed down the match with Ammy and just blocked in the corner until his Xfactor ran out. The timer ran out and I won by a large health lead.
Matu-mskyui’s phoenix team is a joke too. He uses Godot, Fou Lou, Fou Lou deck and spams Sentinel with Doom missiles. His phoenix is just plain feathers spam and then random “Fly, Fly, Fly” traps. I think he only plays Heralds to try to get Heralds colors for his spam team. If you run into him, make sure to Tbag him during and after the match. He beat me 1 match out of the 3 I played him. He Tbagged me the first match then of course I had to return the favor

i have quick question. do you have to log onto heroes n heralds on sunday to get the costumes or can you log on anytime?
you can log on anytime. not sure what will happen if you wait until next Sunday to log on
I finished with 249 points and got 5 unlocks. To complicate matters, I was penalized 25 points for quitting a match where I utterly destroyed my opponent and was on a 14 game win streak with the hero bonus. (Not sure how that decision was made!) I never had more than 249 points, as the penalty came earlier in the week.
You mean you actually got punished when the game decided you ragequit? That’s fantastic (and explains why I’ve seen a few people with several games played and no points).
As for why it penalized you, I’ve learned the hard way that it will often count as a ragequit in H&H if you turn off the console in the initial victory screen (i.e. when it’s showing you what card you won).
It was 50/50 on PSN and the Heroes won.

It happened to me before too. The system will disconnect you after the match randomly. I won and the match ended like normal. After confirming the card prize and accepting to continue the victory bonus, I get disconnected by the system. Then I get a message telling me I was penalized for ending the match prematurely. I get docked 25 points and I also lose my Victory bonus.
If Heralds don’t win this week, I’m giving up on this mode.
Only got 150 points this week, but still got Herald colors for Arthur, Strider and Wright.

I haven’t played H&H in a looong time and popped on today and picked Heralds since Heroes won last week (sorry srk :(), and since I’m heralds I decided to make an evil team every time. By evil I don’t mean evil characters, basically just asshole characters with an asshole deck, and I had some good matches today.
First match I had against was a team of Zero/Dante/Vergil with a deck of Daken/Luke Cage/Luke Cage against my team of Hawk/Storm/Sent with my deck of Sabretooth/Princess/Mephisto. My goal with this was to spam arrows and sent drones and DHC into storm when I got a solid Gimlet. The zoning part worked well but I couldn’t get a solid GimletxxHail Storm, and I really had to lay on the offense since he had high health AND was regenerating it. IIRC I managed to kill zero and it looked like I was going to win. There was about 20 seconds left and he had Vergil/Dante and I had my full team and we both had about full life per character (love that regeneration), but I wasn’t thinking and made a bad assist call and lost sentinel and a large chunk of my health in the last seconds of the game and lost.
I had fun but the whole time I was like “This is not a very heroic team/deck at all, I thought I was evil.” Sadly I only had that match and another won where I just spammed arrows and sent drones and won doing that for about 10 seconds since nobody else was playing.
I was so pissed that I did not get a perfect, that I must have ragequit. Given I was on the hero bonus, it was about a 40 point swing. That is non-trivial when matches are so hard to find.
I was also playing within the last hour on Sunday, had 249 points, went for one more match figuring even a loss will get me to 250. The guy quit mid match, kicked me out of online mode, and I couldn’t get back in again.
he most likely didn’t quit. The system will kick you out once the weekly faction is over even if you are mid match. On PSN, it’s 6PM EST. You won’t be able to play online matches for an hour until the next faction starts.
