Heroes And Heralds War Room: I Dunno Week

Capcom seriously has to do something about this! I know they are aware of what’s going on. I just want my danmed She-Hulk herald color. This is getting out of hand, two boosters are cheating the whole system. At this point I’d rather just buy some Herald colors off the PSN store.

I’ve been a Herald every week, but since it looks like Capcom’s not gonna do anything about this, I might as well throw in the flag and join Heroes.

How are these people cheating? Are they people that worked on the game?

looks like heroes will definitely win this week on PSN. I just checked the leaderboards and the Heroes have all the boosters on board: Naoko chan 21, Gamergal95, and Epic-x_Monette_x (a.k.a Epic-x_LayLa_x, Epic-x_Kaori_x, Epic-x_Shakera_x, Epic-x_Link_x, Epic-x_Jelissa_x … LOL)

Yes, up to a maximum of 5 unlocks per week. I would wager that most people who don’t play much (and thus have a low score) don’t post here, so it’d be hard to get any good estimates on the exact score required to hit the cap. 500 seems to be often claimed, but there’s no hard proof.

There’s actually a pretty stupid easy way to get paired with a specific person. I don’t know if it’s what the PSN boosters are doing (I’m on XBL) but it’s the only reasonable way to exploit the matchmaking I can think of:

1. Console Settings -> Language and Locale -> Locale
2. Change it to something like South Africa (Quite literally no one who would have this game would be using this region)
3. Opponent with a goof Gold Account uses the same settings
4. You: Create -> Region: Same and Rank: Any; Them: Custom -> Same settings
5. ???
6. Profit

Had tested that method before in ranked and it pairs you with that person all the time and pretty quickly too, so I assume since H&H has the same matchmaking system then it should work there too?..

I got five colors with a little over 300 points for last weeks herald win. Took around 40 wins for that.

Couldn’t you just join the team you want to lose on your alt account and turbo the A button? That way you can help the team you want to win and you don’t even have to be there. It’s also much less obvious on the leaderboards.
