WTF, on XBL we went from 60-40 to 49-50. Now I played a bunch, I’m #5 on the leaderboards and we’re dead even.
the biggest mistake from capcom and why HnH isn’t as popular as it could be is the way they distribute the cards. Nobody wants to play offline to get the cards cause its boring and stale and it’s hard for new comers to pop in an online match with a beginner set and win to get cards so they play once, lose then say screw it.
They should have made card accumulation a bit less tedious and also made it so that if you already have 9 of the same cards that you can’t get them again so it’s easier to get all the cards available. Lately all I have been getting are the same cards and the sad little message telling me i already have 9 of these cards and reached the maximum. Well stop giving me those cards then!
Does playing H&H online more increase the number of herald colours you get at the end of the campaign should your side win?
Yep.
To clarify, it goes based on your points that carry over week-by-week. I had 350~ points from the first week that carried over to the second week, battled once for the Heroes, and still got 5 colors at the end of the week.

I don’t think a lot of people will get all Herald colors due to the lifespan of H&H.

I am afraid of that myself. I really don’t see people staying with it long enough. Those of us who are bad (like me :() and those that can’t play/gain as many points as others are gonna have Herald colors locked on the disc that we can’t get 
unless they leave the servers up and we can just join/grab one each week.
This is one of the scenarios where I’d support these being DLC a bit later on. Alternatively, they’ll all be available from the start in the next installment of MVC3, along with Magneto’s Wireframe replacement Alt :rolleyes:

I can see Capcom pulling a DLC trick (which would be a bit too much imho)
But as long as we SRK’ers team up, we can at least get some amount of Herald colors each week
I would like to get Dormammu and Shuma’s Herald colors myself since they are pretty cool.

We’re getting our asses kicked. A lot of Luke Cage teams, I’m just derping out with team best friends and Wesker.
I like to use *Fou-lu/Daken/Miles Edgeworth when I know the other guy can’t block well.
*Sabertooth/Luke Cage/Fou-Lu against the now staple *Sabertooth/Luke/Luke. I get a combo in, lead into a mix up and if it lands I X-factor to kill off the character. Then with the next one if I can kill’em off I pop X-factor again. Now it’s 3vs1, hello chicken blocking and teleporting away. Happy Birthdays happen a lot more often in this mode too, I guess everyone thinks they can throw’em out there for free.

Also; I finished using my Sabretooth/Luke/Luke cards… those were cheap and I was getting tons of hate mail.
Which made me chuckle, 'cuz they got their asses handed to them by a girl.
I got Vergil, Dante, Spencer, and two other guys who I could care less about.

Ughh, H&H screws with your normal play. After rocking a speed-up card for so long normal Mahvel feels like molasses. You hear that people, Mahvel IS slow?!

I want to drop my current regen deck because I’m finding them all annoying, but I don’t know any effective attack boost builds that actually work against SaberLuke. I’m in a rut.
@Wyde: Sabretooth*/FFF/Multiple Man works wonders. And with Wesker? Geezis, that thing does too much damage.
It’s like… a normal match, basically. Except you’re very quick. And you damage people a lot easier.
People are actually ragequitting on HvH now…
I use a deck made to do a lot of damage quickly at the beginning.
It uses Kingpin, Grandmaster, and Mephisto as the main card. It starts you with 4 bars and you have the regen of health as long as you hae 3 bars or more. I have been thinking of dropping Grandmaster for another HC power boost card tho. Pretty sweet to hit like a truck with X-23. Too bad I am new to the game all together and therefore lose to more experienced players atm.
Kingpin Kingpin Mephisto + Dr. Strange Spell of Vishante tends to be instant death for most lower-health characters.
Make sure Meph is your primary, though.
