I’ve been thinking, if there are bad sales (which is likely from everything that has been said about it) they might be holding it off so they can charge us for it when it does come out to make up money. Rather then not have it come out at all since I’m sure its mostly finished if not completely done already.
Edit: Truth be told at this point I would be a bit shocked if its still free when it comes out since It really should have been out by now or at least we should have heard about a release date for it by now.
It will be free, but I imagine it will be like EA Sports’ Ultimate Team thing. Basically if you don’t buy the card packs with a high frequency of rare cards, you’re stuck with all the standard stuff. Which I’m perfectly fine with, I just want news on this.
Game’s been out for less than a month. I wouldn’t expect it until the 13th at the earliest and more likely some time mid-January.

It would help if they told us something, even that it would be out soon or in a month or two or something at least narrow it down a bit.

For some reason this mode reminds me of Hyper Street Fighter Alpha, where you could change your overall gameplay with the character, gain different moves… it certainly reminds me of that game, really interesting.
They probably didn’t release it yet, because it has it’s *own *online mode, it might work differently than the original online… still waiting for this mode, so eager >_<.
So Niitsuma said he can talk about Heroes and Heralds very soon. Hopefully that means we’ll get it by the end of the year.
PSVita comes out on the 17th.
UMvC3 for Vita will also feature H&H mode.
I’m fairly certain for Vita H&H will be on-disc and not DLC.
H&H DLC will need to come out in close proximity to Vita for Transfarring.
Therefore H&H mode will come out for consoles between December 17th and 20th.

Easy way to gauge how many people own the game is to view the online rank scoreboard, when I last checked the lowest ranked player was in the #37k range for the Xbox, I don’t have a PS3 to check there numbers though. So if it’s a global ranking system, add 37k to whatever the PS3 number is and that gives you some idea of just how many copies have sold. Not the best method but probably more accurate than VGcharts.

So you can do offline VS in Heroes and Heralds right, not just against the cpu? Didn’t see it mentioned anywhere. Same for replays; is that just Vita, or is that coming to console as well?
I assume it’ll be available on console as well. Wouldn’t make sense otherwise
