It’s more the logic that cards in some way dictate potential DLC that I find funny. ‘Oh no, megaman is a card and therefore is banished from DLC forever!’.

Any word at all when this is going to be released? I would LOVE a Christmas release date, and it’d be awesome for them to patch in some Trophies and Achivements. I know there’s already Titles in the game that you can unlock.
from a business standpoint, the main focus is UMvC3, but its shifting towards the release patch. shortly afterwards, they will continue on with HnH (release Dec '11 - Feb '12) to continue interest until SFxT in March.
That would be really messed up of them to try to stretch HnH till SFxT (and maybe even after!) but with the amount of info they’ve released, its gonna come out no later than january. but yeah, the game is getting stale. i want more modes. and the fact that some characters who were on wishlists are HnH cards, definitely decreases their chances…so yeah, Gambit for DLC confirmed. >:D
I’m really excited for this actually, I like the idea as a whole. Especially the online mode where you can choose your side each week. It’s also awesome to see a lot of the previous MvC characters brought back in the cards. Plus, of course the new additions (Anti-Venom being one of my favorites).
Does this mode have a slated release? I hadn’t heard anything up until about a week before Ultimate’s release.
You got a card that make your assist have super armor.
One that allow you to parry.
One that allow X-factor to act like a burst out of combo.
One that make your character projectile invincible
etc…
It’s a brokenfest that will unleash hell from a fun point of view ^^. I think Desk is going to have a field day with all the gamebreaking stuff he will be able to do lol.
