There wasnât a tournament in all of washington that didnât have either a nightcrawler based team or nightcrawler in their team when it came to top 8âs.

NC was a beast with HSS and Phasing and a 18 def with Super senses⌠Play with a medic and preplex and prob control and it was GG i didnt even play those teamâs unless it was tournament time because of the cheese.
Canât forget one of the best pieces to ever come around. FIRELORD! dude had like a 12 or 13 at and 3 damage with RCE, and like 8 clicks of life with a def that went down to like 11.More than enough to get healed by the medics, for like 80 points.
The game is so different now yet its the same at its core. No one plays healers anymore, heck they dont even really make characters with that ability.
The new FF is my favorite team as of late, they work so well together.

That brings back some really bad memories of tournaments in like 03-04.

Wasp Unique was way too good.
19 Defense with invulnerability. It might of been higher actually I want to say 20 or 21. I remember her having one of the highest defenses in the game.
I think she had leadership and a few other things too. she was really good.
I donât remember too much about Hercules though. :\
I think she had 19 defense, but Iâm not 100% sure.

yeah iâve been trying to find some deals on ebay, nothing happening at the moment, got a good deal on a skrull for $1.99, new dr strange for 2.99 but other then that, prices seem to be rising on the uniques
If youâre looking for anything in particular I can ask my bro. Hes got a few hundred clix left hes not using. He has most everything in terms of uniques, Iâm just not sure what hes willing to part with or how much.
I remember when Clobberin Time Nightcrawlerâs were going for almost 200 a pop.

I remember after NC got banned their sales dropped dramtically (I still say banning NC was one of the reasons the game died pretty much over night) they released âGolden Age Supermanâ who was a lot like NC but his abilities werenât as good and he had flight.
He went for like 29.99 I think?

I had trouble beating nightcrawler with w/e team I ran back then, so i switched up to trap team with prob control, using spiral plus a character with telekinesis. I beat a lot of nightcrawlers like that.
I remember watching two kids fist fight over line of sight issues one time. That shit was hilarious.
Nightcrawler got banned after the first regionals they had after Critical Mass was released.
The game died (here any ways) over night.
Nightcrawler made that game fun. It made people think 956456840958 times over about how to build teams so you got to see a lot of interesting builds.
Nightcrawler wasnât unbeatable. But with the right build, he was pretty damn close to.
QE: The only reason I remember it was CM instead of XP was because Shield wasnât even usable until XP (Thank you Nick fucking Fury!) and nightcralwer teams were still running a muck.
I also remember a lot of stuff that was going to happen with Indyclix second set but they couldnât get a lot of the licensing they wanted (out of 1%-100% they got about 15% of what they needed) but the second set of indy clix was going to be so good.

It was going to be a great set but a lot of licensing issues and money issues came when they tried to sign the papers so they just scrapped the set all together.
By âGolden Ageâ Supes, do you mean the LE with the hypersonic speed, or is there another one from around that era Iâm forgetting?
QE: I donât think it was just Nightcrawler who got banned after CM came out, Iâm pretty sure it was all of Clobberinâ Time (he was the only useful dude out of that set not named Dr. Doom).
