So, it’s the return. Everyone’s probably high on Tryptophan and ish right now, so it’s around that time of the year to kick this thread off. Thanks to Kaz for holding it down last year.

No flame warring in the thread.

I will keep a tally with an asterisk each time something is nominated so that when the threads go up, only the top 10 will make it into the voting. (For some categories I imagine there may be less than 10 people nominated) Categories are boldfaced

I’ll try my hardest to update the nominations every 24 hours. For the love of God, people, link to the posts and threads for POTY, TOTY, and Worst Derailing. I’m not tracking it down for you, no link, no nomination.

With that said, for the categories of Post of the Year Award, Worst Thread Derailing Award and Thread of the Year Award, I’m requesting that along with the nomination, the post/thread link be included in your post.

I’m leaving off the Non-GD awards again this year, it’s true, this is redundant. Tech Talk is starting have their own awards, if any other board wants to be recognized, start your own.

The Most Intelligent Poster Award is being renamed the Azrael Award, due to his dominance in the award and the fact that his absence since fatherhood is appalling.

I missed most of last year’s. Kaz did it, if you can reference where it was made abundantly clear that it wasn’t happening this year, I’ll throw it out, otherwise it stands. I know Purveyor of Women was already gone due to redundancy.

I’m also going to nominate BORIS for Dumbest Poster (but barely, because he got told to shut up and listened, unlike idiots like Tanner and catchafire last year), and the F-ing 11’ers Award.

I nominate Irrenicus as Person Who Should Post More. He said he agreed with 99% of the stuff I’d posted except for my opinion of Requiem for a Dream. If he doesn’t post, how can I know if he continues to agree? More importantly, if he doesn’t post how will I know if I agree with him most of the time as well? Hmm? How will I know we’re destined blood brothers if the man doesn’t transcribe his thoughts?! TELL ME.

I’m not diggin through who knows how many Lounge threads to find it. I think it was Kaz who said but i don’t remember. I just remember is being in contention for being in this year cuz the only person worthy of it, again, is Million, and the only one who cares about winning it, is Soviet, who doesn’t deserve it cuz slaying ugly bitches isn’t enough.

I don’t care if it’s in or not tho, was just a comment more or less.

He already gets to feel liberated in posting the kinds of things others don’t dare to. The reality is, many members here would likely be in contention for sexual deviant. But they are such deviants, they dare not even post on shoanonymous.
