Ok so I am lost as hell right about now. I got a paper due wednesday and I need some ideas.
In class, we read Beowulf, which is an epic poem. And the teach told us to write an essay on one of three of these topics:

Write an essay about the comparison of Beowulf and Dante’s Inferno.

Write about a problem in modern day Earth and give it characteristics of a monster.

Write about how Beowulf links to modern day Britain.
3 is boring as hell. So I am not doing that.
I would do number 1, but I didn’t read Dante’s Inferno lol.
So all that is left is number 2. That sounds fun but I have no clue what to do. How can I start this paper off? How can I make a problem a monster without making the problem obvious (because we cannot make the problem obvious)? and how can I make this an awesome paper altogether?
