Help With A School Assignment on SF

Hello All,

I could really use some help with a school assignment. I’m a journalism student at the University of Maryland University College (online). I have an upcoming assignment where I get to choose a topic to write about. I’d like to write about the revival of Street Fighter (with the release of SF IV, SSFIITHD and the movies). But I need to interview around eight people for the assignment.

So far I’ve gotten Mr. Wizard, Markman, Azrael and Haunts (from Neogaf) to commit to interviews. I’ve sent a couple pms and haven’t heard anything.

If anyone would be willing to let me interview them via the telephone or IM, it would really help. I’d just be asking about your love of street fighter, expectations for the new games, movies, hard core stories, tournament experience, etc.

The only caveat is the instructor would require your real name and a number (to verify I didn’t make you up from the far reaches of brain). Journalims stories don’t usually have sources with names like Crazyhorse or Risingdragonfist.

I would really appreciate any help anyone can give.

Did you forget about Ponder or S-Kill, since they have definitely helped the SF revival in their own ways.

Well, if you want to hear sad stories from central Europe, no arcades, but SNES ruled, getting blisters from the Saturn controller while playing countless hours of alpha, the small but hardcore crowd, of elitists and ignorants and the hope that online fighting games mean to me, PM me :wgrin:

Again, it’s simply a journalism assignment for a class. I’m writing about one of my passions. Some might call it a corporate schill…
