I’m betting this is also why when you see pictures of starving people in poor countries, many of them despite being so sickly thin, will still have those little pooch bellies. Probably because their bodies in a desperate attempt for survival, have burned off a lot of its own muscle mass & probably a little bone to use for energy, and are clinging to those fat deposits for dear life.
Ascites due to famine, parasites, and several other diseases would be the reason for the distended abdomens you’re thinking of. It’s sure as hell not fat.

Are you sure you have hypothyroidism or other such disorder? When i was younger & really overweight i thought the same too, but actually got tested.
Turns out my thyroid was perfectly healthy, i just had the same problem the majority of other obese fools due in this day & age: shitty lifestyle/health habits.
Once i got off my ass though, developed some actual disipline, willpower, and put together a “decent” diet/fitness routine for my new lifestyle. Problem solved.
Part of this of coarse was learning to say NO and PERMANENTLY remove such foods from said lifestyle. Sugared drinks, and any and all manner of candy & pastries were logically the first to go.
I know many will find that harsh since all their lives they’ve had such foods included as a “normal” part of life, and can’t imagine going without them indefinitly. Sorry but that crap has simply got to go people.
Those who insist on keeping such food products in their life and attempt that juggling act, inevitably 90% will yoyo the weight back because of it. So many people out there simply have no sense of their own strengths & weaknesses. You have those types who preach about moderation and what not, but the majority of individuals out there simply can’t stop after that 1 slice of cake, and thats only natural. Like a junkie getting that taste of the addiction again.
I could go on and on, but yeah---- After 24+years of being a fatass, tons of trial & error, running into the same walls over the years, climbing down from the 310lb+ mark at least 5 times over, etc. I know whats up and how things work.
sorry for the late reply, but yeah, I have hypothyroidism and that was confirmed twice for me.
I don’t mind drinking water, in fact, I’ve started to drink water again. The only way I can’t drink water is if its all warm and shit, then drinking water will be something that turns me away from it. It HAS to be cold and I usually put some water bottles to cool before consuming. I appreciate all the info thats been provided and some of them have actually made me laugh a lot (mainly the flaming that went around between some members in here XD! lol).

How are juices any better than soda. Its almost the same thing but not carbonated and has 100% vitamin C. I stop drinking purple juice as a kid.
