hey hey i have a huge prob here. i gota a hori fighting stick ex2 for xbox 360.
i have windows xp and i plugd it in, it installd with the windows drivers and all.
it works great for mame 64 and all others. but for some reason it dosent show up in mame 117. i want to play 3s with it but i dont know why it dosent show up in mame 117. can somone plz help me!!!

XPadder is an option however a better one is to get the stick working with XBCD drivers. there’s a thread about it in tech talk http://forums.shoryuken.com/showthread.php?t=141775

Either get the XBCD drivers or use Xpadder.
Either I’m having a bad day, or the drivers interfered with something, because I’m having trouble DP’ing consistently. I’ll keep messing around with it.
You might have to increase the poll rate on your USB drives.
hey is there a big difference between xbox hori for like 60$ US and the ps2 Hori 140$US

^assuming you’re talking about one of the PS2 Hrap sticks then yes. huge difference.
the ex2/fs3 are crappy sticks but they are *ok *to play with. hraps are MUCH better. MUCH better, whether or that’s worth an extra $80 to you I can’t tell you.
tnks guys, i just went with xpadder, it works and all, but i need to mod it with a new stick. almost imposible to consitantly special on the ex2 it seems. what do u guys recomend for moding it.?
I actually learned how to play stick on the EX2, so I have no problems with it. However, I did replace the crappy gate with an octagonal Sanwa gate. It was a really easy mod.
