Howdy guys~
I bought my PS3 VLX weeks ago (That red and black one with some stain on the axis panel).
Yesterday I opened it and tried to uninstall the Sanwa stick but met the problem: the screws are too tight!
Can any kind people help me? Maybe this looks foolish but I love Seimitsu LS-32. Thanks if you can help.
They tend to be tight coming from the factory. Take your time, use the right size and type screw driver bit and use some muscle. Stop if you think you are going to strip the screws.
Make sure you chip any glue that could be on the screws.
It’s important to use the right tools, right bit side and type, press down FIRMLY on the screws, and apply torque in an even and strong fashion. If you start to feel the screw giving way, you’re doing it right. If you feel your hands or your tool starting to give way, start over, and check to make sure you’re doing it the right way with the right tools.

Make sure you use the right size screw driver. I recently removed a really tight Hori joystick using all my weight for the downward force and the rubber band method.
What is the rubber band method, if you don’t mind me asking?
It’s in the link I provided. Basically put a rubber band between the screw driver and screw. It helps it grip better to prevent slipping and stripping.
Ah my bad, didn’t click on the link because of the title threw me off. I haven’t ever heard of that but that is a great tip. Haha he puts the most useful one at the end.
Ya, I’ve also had to use a screw extractor to remove a JLF mount plate. That was a pain.
Thanks man~
