A year or two ago I recall seeing preview footage/images of a 2.5/D fighting game where you played as ordinary humans who could transform into tokusatsu styel “superheroes”, with the transformed character serving as the super and the transformed forms looking fairly dark/sci-fi-ish. I dont suppose anyone would happen to know what that game was called? (Apologies for the sparse description)
The only game that comes to mind is Kamen Rider Generations, since you are saying that it was a 2.5d game, the only other option that i can remember was a 2d fg called Project Cerberus.
Thanks, that was wrecking my head. Looks like it was Project Cerberus, sadly doesnt look as cool as it did in my (shoddy) memory.
The game wasn’t that bad, is actually kinda fun, but sadly the game only got ported to PSP (and only japan to boot 
), so the chances of playing it properly against other people are null.
I don’t really know if the game still gets play on japan or not, but i know that the company behind it, developed another game that is more in the vein of SF base on the Koihime Musou series.
