Rather help me get into a new computer, cause mine’s a piece of shit. And I don’t know all the mumbo jumbo shit when it comes to bringing these machines to life.
In a nut shell:
enough room for mad music
surf internet
play wow (i know i know it sucks but they sucked me back in)
watch videos, music etc. etc.
I’ve heard I should go through Dell or something like that but, if there’s a way to make this happen sooner, and cheaper I’m all ears.
I’ve had to order through Dell a lot recently at my job and I have to admit it is hard to build a computer for as good of a price as they offer at this point. Though personally I still like having control over the components that go into my machine
newegg.com is your friend. built a tri core 500gig for less than 600. 4 gig of ram (so i can play wow) and download) 8800gts video card (more then recommended for wow) with a bootleg copy of xp cuz vista sucks. bought it in september, so my exact rig might be much less. oh and my mother board supports hdmi and had an integrated video card thats pretty buff on its own. im at work ill post the specs when i get home. not the buffest computer, but it does everything i need it to do hella fast. ie watch videos play wow listen to mucis and download hella shit
Um you need to get on Cenarius for WoW and join the rest of the savages. I might have to check that out though and see what’s. Thanks for the input so far! Both the GI Joe posts, and the cpu posts.
man ive been told to jump on hella peoples servers lol (i started played about a week and half ago) i need 55 so i can go DK, the only reason i started playing btw lol
oh here are my specs:
Mainboard : Asus M3N-HD/HDMI
Chipset : (Family 10h) Athlon64/Opteron/Sempron HyperTransport Technology Configuration
Processor : AMD Phenom 8400 @ 2100 MHz
Physical Memory : 4096 MB
Video Card : Nvidia Corp GeForce 8800 GTS
Hard Disk : WDC (320 GB)
DVD-Rom Drive : ASUS DRW-2014L1T
Monitor Type : Samsung SyncMaster - 26 inches
Network Card : Nvidia Corp Nvidia Corp
Operating System : Microsoft Windows XP Professional 5.01.2600 Service Pack 2
DirectX : Version 9.0c (November 2006)
for less than 600 its pretty good. and not to mention my tower was like i think 100$ of it.
Trying to hit 55 so can start death knight, the only reason I started playing wow. Should’ve startes earlier to get a head start but I still had ties in ffxi. Now that I finally quit ffxi, I have a resistance to mmo addiction and wow is really fun casually. And triple xp is bomb as fuck.
