Why haven’t those SC2 players sued? As soon as a year passed I would hit up a lawyer ASAP.
Did they sign something that said they could pay whenever?

From my understanding the dispute was settled years ago. It was simply the manner in which it was handled that generated MLG’s current reputation with the FGC.

"Issue 1: Prize money issues were resolved four years ago, but they weren?t specific to EVO2k5. We?re talking about the 2005 MLG season. MLG wouldn?t still be around if it couldn?t pay winners. To add to issue #1, the joint partnership between EVO and MLG for EVO2k5 left a bad taste in a lot of people?s mouths. The top dogs on both sides, or at least most of them, have since moved on, but the same can?t be said for some members of either community."

The players have all been payed. You guys should ask the players themselves. I think the bickering needs to stop however. There are legit concerns on both sides… quit playing the victim
If mlg tries to grab our pros. we just gotta step up to the plate and get better and make more. If MLG wants to participate in our community they can’t go about it throwing around money. We make everything ourselves in this community damn near, we create our own arcade cabs, match set ups, arcade sticks. MLG will kill our arcade scenes. Why play at your arcade when you can qualify online . Why meet up with your friends when everybody thats good is available online? We need the arcades and local tournaments in our community . We saw how bad the extra content was for sf4 consoles and how it hurt arcades don’t let online become the community standard.
Let’s troll MLG- Hakan vs Hakan finals on TV!
I think everything that needs to be said on this subject has been said.
