Hi, Ed. I’m Lance from NY. Did you ever get that letter I sent you? Also, how backed up are you in orders? I want to buy a Xbox360/PS3 combo stick with Swana parts.

There is his queue. Even if it takes a while to get a stick from him, they are well worth the wait.
TO: ED_ Farias
FROM: GOLDN_NZ (steven kim)
i don’t know if you just past my post, pm, and email, (i know you are super busy) but can you please show me with a pic or describe how to get my 5volts for the stick you made me? I have been plenty patient and just want to use my P360 in it.
I ordered a xbox 360 with a switch stick in it (its a competiton or ultimate)
When i initially ordered the stick, I so kindly asked you to leave a wire labeled with 5volts on it, so when i decided to put a P360 in it, the install would be simple. When order came in, no such wire labled anywhere in the box… … ??? what happened???
Thank you very much ED,
and please do respond
just a heads up for anybody who has ordered from the U.K.
the shipping ed used is super quick (even with all the snow this week)was collected last week on 28th january.it will be delivered tommorrow morning.
the downside is i got hit with customs charges of 23.64. 15.64 in vat and 8.00 in parcelforce clearance fees. so you just might want to add that onto ur budget.
roll on tommorrow :looney:
Supposedly e-mails are the best way for reaching Ed, but communication still seems to be the big room for improvement.
A lot of snow, no kidding, I saw on TV (CNN news) how much snow that Buckingham Palace is covered with.
Those extra charges are ridiculous on top of international shipping and the currency exchange rates. I am fortunate I do not have to pay the 8.25% state sales tax for my stick, but it would make me feel bitter to pay VAT on top of what you are paying for.
I was wondering if it is possible to do a stick that works with both the ps2 and xbox 360
Communication is lacking but with 15-20 phone calls a day and 50+ emails it’s getting more and more difficult to get everything done on a daily basis. I am still trying to get to emails within 3-4 days. Trying.
I just can’t bring myself to completely give over the building process to my employees. It’s not that I don’t trust them, it’s just that I am very anal about what I send out so I need to make sure everything is built correctly so I am still doing that as well as trying to keep up with communication.
I know the order queue does not seem like it’s moving very quickly, but that is going to change pretty quick. As you can tell by looking at order queue I get a ton of changes to orders after they are ordered and that adds a lot of time as well. Trying to keep track of everything.
Anyway, I know SFIV is out in a little over a week so we are going to bust our asses to get as many sticks out this week as possibly can.
Yes, but not for a few weeks. Waiting on Toodles new stuff.
I suppose that 30-40 sticks a week sounded like the company expectations were set high for the order queue. It is better off to state it when the process is ready to handle that demand, or else customers can get disappointed.
Wow…that’s what i wanted to hear :woot:
-
This maybe a stretch but would you guys allow me “pre-order” the ps2/Xbox 360?
-
I see you have the Seimitsu Clear button type but would I be able to get the Seimitsu Clear ball top “bubbletop”?
Let him do his job people…
I say bump the people down the list that are changing their order…:wgrin: I figured getting a basic stick with no artwork, etc, would be quicker… But at this rate, I probably could have gone full on custom art and still get the stick in the same time frame as one with none.
I know most everyone on here works hard for their money, as do I, but some of you people act like you’re buying a house or car here  Let the guy build the sticks…
It’s ok. It’s deserved. I am letting myself down right now.
30-40 sticks a week should be very do able we just didn’t have enough coverage in the shop this week as I had hoped so I am hiring a 4th person that is starting next week.
I ordered no customizations as well to try to reduce hassles, but not everyone that orders a stick are browsing these forums so it is hard to get your good message out to those 20 callers / 50 emailers a day.
I wish i lived in Tucson, i’d work for ya. well i am waiting for my stick, and its cool that it will be after sf4, i know it will be worth it, and i have played on a few AIAB sticks, and they are amazing.
Hey why not upgrade? I don’t think it would take any extra time.
How easy is it to swap buttons and the joystick in an AIAB stick? Is there any soldering involved or is it as easy as the SF IV Fightsticks?
On the same thought as Prettiest Bison, I figured having no customization that I would get my order faster. It turns out all these sudden changes people make after they order has been causing the order queue to go slow. It is disappointing to me that those people cannot make up their minds at the time they order, but it is fair since we all pay good money for this product.
I see myself needing another stick in the future, so maybe I will customize that one.
Rather than to think about modding an AIAB stick, I would determine the right joystick and button (parts/color) that I want for my box before ordering. Some people on their Fightsticks want Semitsu buttons/joystick as well as different color Sanwa buttons and joystick tops. It would not cost extra as well to get things right the first time (replacing the sanwa buttons or standard parts is easily over 20 bucks).
About the ease of difficulty for the actual swapping, I would not know.
I think you can still make changes if you like. It’s better than buying another one. What would you need two for anyway?
But since I already have Sanwa parts laying around I wouldn’t want to waste money and just order an AIAB stick with stock parts.
Hey Ed_Farias,
I have a quick question if you can answer it but what material are you using for your design prints? is it vinyl?
