Im retarted when it comes to this
What material is the artwork printed on? Vinyl? I am now afraid of polycarbonites due to my OCD and them basically being made of estrogen (bisphenol A is converted into estrogen inthebody).
Vinyl with a polycarbonite coating.
Are you planning on eating it? I’m just kidding, but an interesting tidbit
Ed you are the man. I anxiously await the arrival of my new stick I don’t have much to say on the topic of artwork though as I only really wanted the stick to play very well for me and don’t care much for visuals at the moment. Different colors look cool enough for me
OK, well I purchased a few overlays outright so I think I am going to go with this plan.
Curved (it will be adjusted for the slim arcade curved as well)

Straight

Default art = bad
If those images above are the default = very bad
You cant go wrong with black.
Hi Ed, I sent you a very important PM.
.
IMO it’s a lot better looking in person. I’ve done about 6 of them with it and they look good.
However, I hear you all. I will be making an adjustment to them and letting the customer choose the background color. In other words, there will be one default one like the above (without the squares around the buttons), you can then choose to have it purple instead or red. Whatever color you want without any minor changes. I think I can pull that off without losing too much on time.
I’ll upload a stick using that artwork tonight and as soon as I get the illustrator files I will update them to show what I mean.
Sup ED!
man i would like to sample just that red box, i got happ part i’m gonna put in there.
how much for just that red empty box?
also, i don’t mean to be picky but you relocate those 3 holes on the right north side of the box. i got big hands and when i touch the stick, i’ll prolly hit those buttons.
let me know. we got a gaming league out in hawaii and are shopping around for some nice boxes
thanks dawg!! :bgrin:
Sure, I can do that. Or even side mount them if you prefer.
yeah that what i mean side mount those bad boyz! :bgrin:
can you pm me the price and where do i order from? thanks
Ed…any news on the PS3 sticks?
have you tried out the new Dual Shock 3’s yet?
Just order like you normally wood, but put in the comments at check out that you wanted the buttons side mounted.
If you go with the slim arcade, the buttons are side mounted anyway.
Hey ed can you post a pic of what the bottom of the stick looks like with and without the cover on the bottom?
also you i get a custom lexan bottom for the top and bottom of the stick? (of course i’ll pay extra for it!)
thanks man, can’t wait to get my box from you!
Sup Ed!
ok on your site theres no where to order just a box without the buttons, pcb, and joystick
can i just paypal you, i will pay for what ever work, extra costs, etc you incurr my friend. if all goes well i will be hittin you up with a quite a large order for HVGL (hawaii video gaming league)
this is my current order dawg!:
True arcade solo-(empty box, no buttons, pcb, or joystick)
i need it to be full height, not the silm version
stick all black with chrome t-molding, can you give me an extra cut/fitted set of black t-molding incase i don’t like the chrome. (will pay for that extra t-molding)
with this artwork:
DemonIV
By: Mike SanFacon
can you take out the IV on the artwork
http://www.arcadeinabox.com/postorder/artwork/Full_DemonIV_1.jpg
curved button layout (6 buttons)
would like the start and select buttons (only want 2 holes
not 3) to be side mounted front(north/right side) of the box.
This location would be directly above the punch buttons.
also would like lexan covering on top of the stick and the bottom so i
can easily see in the stick. i will use the buttons and joystick
bolts to keep in down for the top of the stick. please do no use any screws to keep it down. The bottom lexan covering, you can mount it whatever way is best and easy to remove.
also please do not router the stick area or button area. I will
be using happ P360 and buttons.
please get back to me homeboy :bgrin:
THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH :china:
excited to see how this turns out!

OK, I know some people are a little frustrated with the post order form right now. Since I started selling the psx/ps2 controllers, the form doesn’t really reflect those.
I’m working with a programmer now to get it all finished up, but it might be a few weeks. Those of you that have used the new post order form you know what it’s like. You have to populate the form based on what you ordered and other boxes become available with the options you can pick from. For example, if you chose sanwa buttons, the button drop down would appear with only color options available for sanwa buttons.
I ran into some problems where customers either didn’t remember what they ordered, or just clicked the wrong item to get through the form quickly. If they ordered a comp stick, they might have chosen magstick on the form.
I am changing this. Now the postorder form will directly link to store database. You will just need to type in your order number and the rest of the fields will populate with what was ordered based on that order number. Hopefully this and a few little other things will get this form finalized to how I want it and make it easier for everyone that orders.
